How to Start Raw Leaf Porridge Quest in Where Winds Meet
The Raw Leaf Porridge quest begins in Kaifeng City, specifically on South Gate Avenue. When you arrive in this district, look for a small open-air pharmacy stall and the NPC patient named Zhen Ping’an standing nearby. Speaking to him for the first time unlocks his story about his mother’s porridge and the remedy he believes will help him.
However, the trick is that you must talk to him twice, because the second interaction opens a trade-style window requesting a prescription. At this point, the game does not update your map or give you any hint about what to do next, which is why many players get stuck right here.
How to Complete the Raw Leaf Porridge Quest in Where Winds Meet
To continue the quest, you need to go find the doctor who wrote the missing prescription: Fu Wenshu. He is not inside a building or inside the pharmacy but standing outside near the water.
The fastest way to reach him is to teleport to the Forsaken Quarter stone and walk toward the river. As you approach the docks, you will see a small fishing area with wooden platforms, narrow stairs, and a handful of NPCs. Fu Wenshu is among them, usually wearing darker clothing and positioned close to the dock’s edge.
If Fu Wenshu doesn’t appear, you may need to adjust the time of day, since he typically shows up around noon.
Once you find Fu Wenshu, speak with him and make sure you exhaust his entire dialogue. The prescription is automatically added to your inventory after the conversation finishes; no extra prompts or selections are required.
With the prescription in hand, simply return to Zhen Ping’an. When you speak to him again, the same inventory-style window appears, but this time the prescription will be available to hand over. Give him the item, and the quest is completed immediately.
Rewards
Finishing the Raw Leaf Porridge grants Echo Jade, coins, stored EXP, and Kaifeng exploration points. It also moves One Leaf, One Life: Phase II forward, making it worth completing as soon as you pass through Kaifeng.
