How to Get the Forsaken Vow Blade in Fortnite

To receive the Forsaken Vow Blade in Fortnite, players will need to find and enter a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate. The Forsaken Vow Gate can be found in various areas around the island, with its locations appearing on your map once you get close enough. From here, simply head to the Rift Gate and interact with it to jump inside.

Upon leaving the Rift Gate, you will have the Forsaken Vow Blade. Three Kill Bill enemies will also spawn with you: Gogo, Yuki, and the Crazy 88 Henchmen, giving players some extra loot for defeating them and letting you immediately make progress on the “hit opponents with the Forsaken Vow’s Vengeance Dash” and “Defeat Gogo and Yuki after entering a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate” quests.

All the locations for the Forsaken Vow Rift Gates are yet to be discovered. Check back again for a full, detailed breakdown.

How to Use the Forsaken Vow Blade in Fortnite

The Forsaken Vow Blade is a melee weapon built for close-quarters combat. The weapon has three main attacks that players can rotate between, and it closely resembles the Typhoon Blade from Chapter 6 Season 1. However, unlike the Typhoon Blade, the Forsaken Vow Blade does not grant a faster sprint speed or the ability to double jump.

The Forsaken Vow Blade has a durability bar similar to many other items that do not use ammunition. Its durability will decrease the more you use it, and once it hits zero, the Forsaken Vow Blade will be removed from your inventory. Here is a full breakdown of every attack players can perform with the Forsaken Vow Blade:

  • Song of Steel (Fire Button): Dish out melee attacks that deal 35 damage per hit. Can be chained together.
  • Falling Blossom (Fire Button Midair): Perform a downward melee attack whilst in midair, dishing out 70 damage. Eliminates fall damage.
  • Vengeance Dash (Aim Button): Perform a charged ranged melee attack, dishing out 35 damage and knocking back the opponent. Consumes one of three charges upon use and has a 10-second call down. Eliminates fall damage.
