How to Get the Mask of Sorrow in Resident Evil Village

After escaping the Bedchamber, you’ll acquire the Moon Eye Ring as you proceed through the iron door. With the Maroon Eye Ring, inspect it within your Key Items and examine the eye to take it out of its slot. Now, with the Maroon Eye in your possession, head upstairs in the Main Hall to the south to open the Prioress Door.

You will get chased by one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters, but follow left into the Dressing Room and drop down into the hole, where you can venture through the Tasting Room and into the Hall of War. From within, shoot the brazier into the two unlit pyres and proceed past the Chamber of Solace.

After evading the enemies and Lady Dimitrescu’s daughter, you will be attacked in the Kitchen. You can kill Bela by exposing her to the cold air at the broken window, and then by shooting her. With her death, proceed deeper into the Kitchen and pick up the Sanguis Virginis wine in the blood basin.

Now with the Sanguis Virginis in your key items, head into the Wine Room in Main Hall (2F) and place the Sanguis Virginis on the Silver Flower Bottle Stand, which reveals a secret room that provides you with the Courtyard Key from within the trinket chest.

Unlock the Courtyard with the Courtyard Key by going into the Dining Room, east of the Main Hall (1F). From within the Courtyard, venture to the southeast room and follow the stairs up, where you will enter the Hall of Ablution:

Enter through the Wine Cellars in the drained hatch that’s revealed after solving the Hall of Ablution, and then activate the lever in the southeast room of the Distillery. This will take you to Dimitrescu’s Chambers, where you can look up at the southwest wall to pick up Dimitrescu’s Key.

Enter through the door, and pull the lever in the new room you’ve been thrown into. Even after losing a hand, you will need to pull the lever again and avoid Lady Dimitrescu while you wait for the door to lift. After entering, open the door with Dimitrescu’s Key, and pick up the Mask of Sorrow.

How to Get the Mask of Joy in Resident Evil Village

With the Mask of Sorrow acquired, you will be taken back up to the Courtyard via an elevator. In the Courtyard, open the north door with the Dimitrescu’s Key, and follow up the stairs to reach the Opera Hall (1F). Locate the piano, and complete the puzzle by matching the piano keys with the notes to get the Iron Insignia Key.

With the Iron Insignia Key, return to the Opera Hall (2F) and unlock the southwest door. This will take you into the Library, where you will be confronted with another of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. You can kill her by activating the lever in the center gazebo to expose the cold air and then shoot her dead.

Now, through the west door of the Library, you can enter the Hall of Joy to pick up the Mask of Joy, and your third Angel Mask is just one door away, so don’t move from this spot.

How to Get the Mask of Rage in Resident Evil Village

From the Hall of Joy (west of the Library on 2F), you can enter the west room to find the Atelier. In the Atelier, you are required to shoot 5 bells. to open the secret door that unlocks through the Lady Dimitrescu Painting. You’ll find a ladder inside that takes you to the Attic, and then through to the Rooftops.

Follow across the Rooftops on the linear path ahead, where you will eventually come across a zipline in the Belfry, facing west towards the Tower of Rage. Take the zipline and pick up the Mask of Rage, then turn around to take the ladder down, where you can take an elevator back to 1F of Castle Dimitrescu.

How to Get the Mask of Pleasure in Resident Evil Village

After returning to Castle Dimitrescu 1F, head into the Main Hall and venture upstairs to the south area to enter the Prioress Door again, where you first encountered one of Lady Dimitrescu’s Daughters. Inside, head south and unlock the door with Dimitrescu’s Key and pick up the Mask of Pleasure within the Hall of Pleasure. However, you’ll find yourself locked in the room.

Proceed west into the Armory, and immediately grab the Pipe Bombs on the north table. Now, avoid Lady Dimitrescu’s daughter’s attacks and move the shelf that’s blocking the south wall. With a Pipe Bomb, throw it at the crumbling wall to reveal the cold air, and now kill the last of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters.

In the Armory, look up at the west wall to find the Mounted Animal Skull. From within your Key Items, inspect the Mounted Animal Skull and look at the back to turn the item into the Animal Skull. With this, return to the Hall of Pleasure and place the Animal Skull into the slot where you picked up the Mask of Pleasure.

This will unlock the door back through the way you came, allowing you to return to the Main Hall and enter the Hall of the Four to complete the puzzle. However, at this point, you should probably visit the Merchant’s Room to create a save or sell/purchase some items to prepare for the fight ahead.
