Astra Malorum Zombies Map, Survival Maps, & Ashes of the Damned Directed Mode
On the Zombies side, the biggest content drop for Season 1 is the arrival of Astra Malorum, dropping as soon as Season 1 debuts on December 4 at 9 AM PT. Players jumping in will be taken to the outskirts of space within the Dark Aether, where they will face new enemies, wield the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon, and progress through the Astra Malorum Main Quest. Mule Kick also makes its arrival alongside Astra Malorum, a returning Perk from past titles.
That’s not all, as additional Survival Maps also arrive. Players will be able to jump into Exit 115 and Zarya Cosmodrome Survival, each of which is are POI from Ashes of the Damned. Speaking of Ashes of the Damned, the Directed Mode for the launch map arrives with Season 1, giving players additional rewards for completing the Main Quest. Side Easter Eggs will be disabled in Ashes of the Damned Directed Mode.
Season 1 also sees the return of some content from Black Ops 6 Zombies, notably the arrival of Ammo Mods, Field Upgrades, and more. All Augments unlocked for said content in Black Ops 6 will carry over when Season 1 releases, but also expect new Augments to unlock. These are as follows:
- Light Mend Ammo Mod
- Shatter Blast Ammo Mod
- Tesla Storm Field Upgrade
- Frost Blast Field Upgrade
- Mister Peeks Field Upgrade
Wrapping up the Zombies side is the debut of two new GobbleGums, Elemental Exposure and Slaylist. Elemental Exposure allows players to automatically deal the elemental damage that matches their target’s weakness, while also making players invulnerable to all hazards in Dead Ops Arcade. Slaylist, on the other hand, simply plays a random Zombies song.
Endgame World Events & More
Endgame is receiving post-launch support in Season 1 with a bunch of new World Events. These will roll out throughout the entire Season 1 launch window, with the first being the Colossus of Avalon, where players can battle the giant robot from the Black Ops 2 Origins Zombies map.
The Toxic Tyrant World Event launches in-season, bringing in the Z-Rex from Shattered Veil, followed by Wraith Wing with Season 1 Reloaded. That’s not all, as new skills also enter the mix with the Exotic Skills and the Phantom Skill Track.
Warzone Integration & Haven’s Hollow Resurgence Map
Season 1 also kicks off the Warzone integration with the latest premium Call of Duty title. This means players will be able to use Black Ops 7 weapons, equipment, Operators, movement mechanics (including only base sprint by default), and more inside Call of Duty: Warzone starting December 4. The Warzone Camos for all Black Ops 7 weapons will also become available at this time, officially kicking off the next camo grind.
On top of the integration with Black Ops 7, Warzone also receives a new Resurgence map for Season 1. Dive into Haven’s Hollow, a town in the Appalachian region, not too far from where Liberty Falls is set in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Jump into classic Resurgence action as you explore points of interest like the Mansion from Shattered Veil, the Barn, Research Centre, and more.
Verdansk also sees some exciting updates with the arrival of the new Signal Station and Factory points of interest. As for in-season content, expect festive-themed CODMAS LTMs to arrive later in the season.

Black Ops 7 brings 7 additional weapons for players to grind for and unlock, most of which are accessible through the Season 1 Battle Pass, whereas others will be reserved for limited-time events. These weapons include the Maddox RFB from Black Ops 4, the Ballistic Knife, Kogot-7 SMG, and more.
