The camo grind begins anew with Black Ops 7, and players who are seeking to get the final camo in Black Ops 7 Zombies will first need to get 1,000 Critical Kills within the mode. While 1,000 Critical Kills might seem daunting at first, it’s only until you realise what Critical Kills are, and how you can easily achieve them, does this task becomes all too easy. Below, we’ve outlined how you can easily get Critical Kills in BO7 Zombies to make the camo grind a little less of a challenge, but still a grind nonetheless.
How to Get Critical Kills in Black Ops 7 Zombies
Critical Kills occur when players get the killshot on a zombie that’s in their Critical Hit spot, which will always be the head. This means that to get a Critical Kill, you need to shoot zombies in the head. You’ll know you got a Critical Kill as you will receive the pop-up on your HUD in yellow text: “+115 Zombie Critical Kill”. Critical Kills can be achieved with both guns and melee weapons, so long as you’re aiming at the head. However, there are some noticeable, effective Perks and Attachments to use to make Critical Kills easier:
- Deadshot Daiquiri with the Dead First Major Augment: This Perk will allow your ADS to track to the head immediately, and Critical Damage of bullets is increased. With the Dead First Major Augment, you will deal double Critical Hit Damage to zombies at full health.
- Damage Barrel Attachment: Most weapons will have a Damage Barrel Attachment in the Loadout screen, which allows you to have a Headshot Multiplier to deal more Critical Hit Damage. If a Damage Barrel is not available, then look for what increases Damage Range, like Long Barrels.
There aren’t really any effective farming spots to get easy headshots in Black Ops 7 Zombies, but we recommend running the Survival Map, Vandorn Farm, as it’s far smaller, and everything you need can be found here, so you can effectively train zombies and kill them when you line your scope with their heads. Ashes of the Damned is also great if you have the time; it’s just extremely large in size and might not be what you’re looking for to farm kills.
