How to Level Up Fast in COD Black Ops 7
A few things have changed in Black Ops 7 compared to the previous game, but the way players level up and make progress with their account has pretty much stayed the same. You’ll naturally level up as you play any of the three main modes in BO7, but if you want to level up as quickly as possible, you’ll need to optimize your routine.
If you want to get a head start in multiplayer or grind out some guns and attachments for Warzone, you have a number of leveling options to choose from. Some are better than the others, but ultimately, your choice will boil down to how you want to play the game.
Leveling with the Campaign in Black Ops 7
Surprisingly enough, you can level up your account and your weapons by playing through the relatively brief campaign for Black Ops 7. Each of the 11 missions rewards you with a shower of XP as well as other rewards that you can use in the multiplayer side of the game (mainly cosmetics for weapons and operators).
By completing the campaign, you’ll get 55k XP worth of completion rewards in total, but it doesn’t stop there. Once you beat all missions, you’ll unlock the Black Ops 7 Endgame mode, which is a large, 32-player PvE mode set in the Avalon map. Here, you can complete missions and farm XP to your heart’s content, offering a more relaxed alternative for leveling up.
Best Multiplayer Modes for XP Farming in Black Ops 7
If you’ve been playing Call of Duty for a while now, you’ll know that quick, objective-based matches set in small maps tend to have the best per-hour XP yields. As long as you perform well while playing the objective, you should earn a ton of XP for every match you play. Of course, you’ll level up even faster if you use an XP Token right before your match begins.
Kill Confirmed is a great mode for farming XP in Black Ops 7, since collecting dog tags nets you bonus points. Hardpoint and Kill Order are nice alternatives as well, and if you don’t mind match length as much, Overload is an excellent mode to play.
Farming XP in Black Ops 7 Zombies
Much like in the previous game, Zombies mode is by far the easiest way to get a ton of XP relatively quickly. The trick to farming in Zombies is to go to Survival mode and use the Rampage Inducer at the beginning of a match. This causes zombies to become faster, speeding up the otherwise slow initial waves. You can find the Rampage Inducer by looking for the skull icon on the minimap. Once the zombies are rampaging, do your best to stay alive and keep the kills coming.
Zombies mode is also great for leveling up weapons in Black Ops 7. If you’re uncomfortable using them in multiplayer or in the co-op campaign mode, you can always use them here. Zombies don’t shoot back (most of the time), and there are also weapon camos to be unlocked in this mode.
Both Multiplayer and Zombies modes have challenges that you can complete for big chunks of XP. These reset daily.
