The Best Star Citizen Credit Farm in 4.4.0

By newsgame

Money is everything in Star Citizen. United Earth Credit (UEC) is the game’s main form of currency, and it’s used to buy pretty much everything, from guns and gear, to ammunition, food, meds, and even ships. Nearly every activity you do in Star Citizen rewards you with credits, though some jobs tend to pay better than others. If you’re looking for something that can help you gear up or secure another addition to your growing fleet as quickly as possible, then you’ll want to start doing lucrative contracts that reward a lot of money at once.

Learn the basics of how to get your ship airborne and space-worthy with this short beginner’s guide for Star Citizen.

The alpha version of Star Citizen uses aUEC, or Alphe United Earth Credits. Once the game eventually reaches full release, in-game currency will simply be referred to as UEC.

For absolute beginners, we recommend just picking whatever mission you prefer. Bounty hunting missions are good for quick and easy cash; here, you’ll often have to take out just one target, making it less risky compared to other combat missions. However, if you want missions that have more action in them, pick up any of the Mercenary contracts (but skip the ones where you need to cull creatures). Your choice of starting location in Star Citizen shouldn’t matter that much if you’re concerned about making money early on.

Every time you complete a mission for a faction, you’ll build a reputation with them. You can check what faction is offering a job by looking at the upper-right section of a post in the Contracts screen of your mobiGlas. We recommend sticking with one quest giver at a time so you can unlock higher-risk missions that reward more money. To find your current reputation level with any faction, open your mobiGlas and go to the Rep tab.

Best Missions for Money

For combat-savvy players, Defend Site missions are great if you want a short, on-foot excursion against hostile infantry. Here, all you have to do is beat waves of enemies until there’s nobody left to shoot. They take no more than 5 minutes to complete, but since there’s a very real risk of dying here, you’ll want to be extremely careful when the shooting begins.

If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, go to your mobiGlas’ Contracts menu, then toggle the Verified button on top of the jobs list to Unverified. This will show you missions given by the Headhunters and Vaughn. The latter’s missions are very easy and are quick to complete, but you’ll need a good ship that’s fit for combat, like an Andromeda or Taurus. If you don’t have any of these, you can rent one.

You can get back-to-back missions from Vaughn, making him the best choice for players who want to make money through combat. However, his missions will also increase your Crime Stat. To maximize profits, make sure to bring some means of looting and storing cargo from the ships you destroy (if any), then sell them all.

Mining and Hauling are also quite lucrative, but they tend to take longer and are generally less engaging for players who are looking for excitement. Still, these missions give their own sense of satisfaction, and they’re great for players who want a change of pace from all the fighting. Mining is a bit more complex, though, and you’ll need to get both a ship and a set of equipment that are sufficient for the task.

Bounty hunting in the Pyro system tends to be riskier, but it has higher rewards than in Stanton. However, you won’t get any reputation points for contacts if you do missions there. Once you make it to Nyx, max out your rep with Intersec Defense Solutions to get contracts worth 1M aUEC.
