World of Warcraft Brings Back Pilgrim’s Bounty With New Rewards

By newsgame

Pilgrim’s Bounty is officially back in World of Warcraft, and this year, players can get four charming bread-filled Bountiful Backpacks for their transmog collections. These cosmetics have a chance to drop from the Pilgrim’s Bounty reward satchels from the event’s daily quests, meaning World of Warcraft characters have plenty of chances to earn these items.

In World of Warcraft, Pilgrim’s Bounty is an in-game event comparable to the real-life Thanksgiving holiday celebrated in the US. Though not as robust as other major World of Warcraft holidays like Hallow’s End or the Feast of Winter Veil, Pilgrim’s Bounty still offers several festivities and activities, including a 10% reputation buff, achievements, Cooking recipes, and transmogs.

Now, Pilgrim’s Bounty has returned to World of Warcraft with a handful of new items for fans to collect. The Bountiful Backpack is a new back transmog item that comes in four colors: green, purple, orange, and white. Players have a chance to find one of these cosmetics each time they open a Pilgrim’s Bounty reward satchel, which are given out in exchange for completing the event’s daily quests.

Pilgrim’s Bounty is live in World of Warcraft now until November 30 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET.

There are five daily quests each character can do each day, all of which have a chance to reward these new cosmetics. These quests can be completed on multiple characters each day, too, giving even more opportunities to collect all the items. To complete these quests, fans will simply need to obtain 20 of the following Pilgrim’s Bounty food items via the Auction House, or by making them with the Cooking profession in World of Warcraft:

  • Candied Sweet Potato
  • Cranberry Chutney
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Slow-Roasted Turkey
  • Spice Bread Stuffing

Beyond these new cosmetics, fans can still get all the classic World of Warcraft rewards from this holiday as well. Players can obtain the Pilgrim’s Attire, Dress, Robe, Boots, and Hats via this quest – but if they are especially lucky, they will get the Frightened Bush Chicken Battle Pet in World of Warcraft, which has a low chance of appearing inside the Pilgrim’s Bounty satchels.

Though not required for the What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been holiday meta-achievement, the Pilgrim’s Bounty achievements reward both “the Pilgrim” title and the Plump Turkey pet, making it worth the effort all the same. This event is also a fantastic time to level up Classic Cooking, as it can be done for minimal cost purely through Pilgrim’s Bounty recipes. Lastly, the 10% reputation boost stacks with the 20% buff World of Warcraft fans can get during the 21st anniversary event, letting players maximize the efficiency of their faction rep and Renown grind.
