Don’t Spend Your Fallout 76 Atoms Right Now
As a live-service multiplayer game, it’s no surprise that Fallout 76 is packed with cosmetics that can be both earned and purchased. Character outfits, power armors, and backpacks are the tip of the iceberg, as those looking for different ways to decorate their Fallout 76 CAMPs are constantly getting new items to work with via seasonal updates. Fallout 76’s 23rd Season will be no different, as Blood and Rust will be bringing tons of cool rewards for New Vegas fans as well as those aiming to create a Raider-inspired CAMP. However, it can be assumed that this isn’t all that will be coming to Fallout 76 soon, as in addition to more plans to chase through Burning Springs’ events, the Atomic Shop could have a double whammy ahead. If players want to be prepared, they’ll want to hang onto any Atoms they currently have or will be getting via Fallout 1st.
Fallout 76’s Black Friday Deals Could Be Imminent
Black Friday is an exciting time for every type of shopper, and gaming is no different, as enthusiasts can find plenty of video game deals for Black Friday in virtually every storefront. Based on previous years, it’s likely that Fallout 76 will have some form of Black Friday discounts, with possibilities including:
- Atom packs getting a temporary price cut so that players can stock up on Fallout 76 currency.
- Certain Fallout 76 bundles being made cheaper for Black Friday.
- A potential discount on Fallout 76’s 1st subscription.
- Individual CAMP and clothing items for Fallout 76 being discounted in the Atomic Shop.
Obviously, there’s no guarantee that Bethesda will offer heavy discounts for Fallout 76 next week, especially with price cuts being few and far between as of late (both Bombs Drop Day and 76’s Anniversary came and went without special deals). That said, if Fallout 76 does plan on going all out with discounted bundles and Atomic Shop items, the Black Friday festivities will likely begin with the weekly reset on Tuesday, November 25. As such, players would surely want to have a plethora of Atoms ready to go, as there’s no telling what Bundles and items could be discounted. Perhaps there could be an offer on something they’ve had an eye on for ages, so instead of caving and buying store items this week, waiting until Black Friday deals potentially arrive with the weekly reset would be wise. Even if players are looking to buy more Atoms, waiting until next week to see if the old bundle discounts are brought back seems smart, as it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It’s worth noting that the Black Friday deals for 2024 were seen as largely disappointing for the Fallout 76 community, which could push Bethesda to go all out this time around. Even if it doesn’t, players are planning their own Black Friday festivities, with player shops set to have big discounts next week — guaranteeing Black Friday is an exciting time in Fallout 76 one way or another.
Fallout 76’s Burning Springs Update Could Bring New Atomic Shop Goodies
While fans only know of the items that will be part of Fallout 76 Season 23 so far, it can be assumed that such a big update will also mean new things in the Atomic Shop. Never-before-seen items tied to The Ghoul and the Ohio region of Appalachia could be added, and old content could be made available in the digital storefront once again (fingers crossed for the Chessboard display). With this hypothetical Atomic Shop shakeup to celebrate Burning Springs’ debut coming just a week after the potential Black Friday deals, players are going to need every Atom they can spare, as there might just be a one-two punch of premium content right around the corner.
Considering how the second season of Amazon’s Fallout series is right around the corner, now would be the perfect time to make the Atomic Shop as appealing as possible. Some players returned recently to prepare for Burning Springs, others will arrive with the update, and even more could come once the show airs and excitement around the franchise hits its peak. Black Friday deals would be a great way to help newcomers catch up, while even veterans would appreciate fresh Atomic Shop additions, so hopefully, Bethesda will deliver on both opportunities. With thes possibilities in mind, now is the time for gamers to grind challenges and earn Atoms, or at least hang onto whatever they already have.
