Where to Find Blackspot Seabream in Heartopia

By newsgame

If you’re trying to catch Blackspot Seabream in Heartopia, you’ll need to fish in the Zephyr Sea during Rainy or Rainbow weather between 6 PM and 6 AM. This fish becomes available once you reach Fishing Level 7, and it only appears during nighttime windows, which include both Dusk and Dawn in Heartopia’s time cycle. Because of its specific weather and time requirements, the Blackspot Seabream can feel a little tricky to track down if you’re not fishing at the right moment.

Blackspot Seabream can only be found in the Zephyr Sea, which is one of the island’s ocean fishing areas. Unlike many early fishing targets that spawn along rivers or lakes, this species belongs to the ocean category and requires you to cast your line into saltwater.

Blackspot Seabream appears at night, which includes both Dusk (6:00 PM–11:59 PM) and Dawn (12:00 AM–5:59 AM) in Heartopia’s daily cycle. If you attempt to fish for it during the morning or afternoon, it simply won’t spawn in the catch pool.

When a Rainy or Rainbow evening arrives and you’re at Fishing Level 7 or higher, head to the Zephyr Sea and start casting. With enough attempts, the Blackspot Seabream will eventually show up and fill another entry in your Heartopia fishing collection.

Once you’re fishing in the Zephyr Sea during the correct weather window, the process of catching Blackspot Seabream follows the usual fishing mini-game. Still, a few tools can make finding one much easier. Using bait is one of the simplest ways to increase spawn activity along the shoreline. Bait can be purchased from Vanya, and scattering it into the water attracts additional fish shadows to the area.

More fish spawning means more chances for a Blackspot Seabream to appear, especially when you’re fishing during its limited nighttime window.

Players who have progressed further into the fishing hobby can also use items such as Mermaid Perfume or Fish Attractors. These tools improve fishing efficiency and increase the number of fish available to catch, making them particularly useful when hunting specific species tied to weather conditions.
