Best Chaos Modifiers in Clash Royale

By newsgame

Chaos mode has been a massive success in Clash Royale. Players have been enjoying all the new card abilities and trying out different deck combinations. With 50 cards available in Chaos mode, and each with three different modifiers, it’s essential to know what to do with them

These modifiers give your cards special abilities. Some give your cards more HP, while others make them much stronger. With so many wild modifiers in the mode, it’s normal to wonder which ones are actually the best. Let’s take a look at some of the strongest modifiers in Chaos mode.

Clash Royale players looking to climb the ladder may struggle once they make it to Rascal’s Hideout; find out some great decks to take on Arena 13.

Best Chaos Mode Card Modifiers in Clash Royale

Goblin Demolisher

goblin demolisher modifier clash royale

Goblin Demolisher has started appearing in many Chaos decks. One of its modifiers gives it 150% more range, which allows it to throw dynamite from behind the bridge.

Because of this, your towers can’t target it. If it stays alive for a while, it can deal a lot of damage. The best way to stop it is with something like Electro Wizard or an air troop.

Tombstone

tombstone modifier clash royale

Tombstone usually spawns Skeletons, but this modifier changes them into Wallbreakers. Since Tombstone keeps spawning them, it can quickly become hard to defend against.

It only costs three elixir, so your opponent will often spend more elixir trying to stop it, and they might still take some damage.

PEKKA

pekka modifier clash royale

PEKKA is already one of the strongest cards in Clash Royale, and this modifier makes it even more chaotic, as it allows you to deploy PEKKA anywhere on the map, even right on top of your opponent’s tower. It works like Miner, with the same digging animation before it appears.

A good trick is to start a push with your other troops and then secretly drop PEKKA on the tower. Your opponent might think it’s just a Miner at first, and by the time they realize it’s a PEKKA, the tower might already be gone.

Rascals

  • A Boss Bandit With Two Magic Archers

Rascals haven’t been very popular in the normal game, but in Chaos mode, they get an interesting modifier. The Rascal Boy turns into a Boss Bandit, and the Rascal Girls turn into two Magic Archers.

Even if your opponent manages to deal with the Boss Bandit, the two Magic Archers can still cause a lot of trouble. Their piercing arrows can hit troops and towers at the same time, which can lead to some easy damage.

Graveyard

graveyard modifier clash royale

Graveyard is easily one of the best win conditions in Chaos mode. It has two really strong modifiers. One spawns random skeleton units, and the other spawns Guards. We like the skeleton units one more because they can also spawn air units like Skeleton Dragons.

Clash Royale players can also place the Graveyard directly on the King Tower, which can also help them unlock the Go for the King badge. The Guards modifier is also very good since Guards don’t die in one hit. Even if your opponent uses Poison, they usually deal a good amount of damage before dying.

X-Bow

xbow modifier clash royale

X-Bow also gets a wild modifier that makes it fire Sparky shots. Since Sparky has the highest damage in the game, it can destroy troops and towers very quickly.

This modifier doesn’t last as long as a normal X-Bow, but honestly, it doesn’t need to. Even a few seconds of Sparky shots can completely turn the match around.

Wizard

wizard modifier clash royale

All three Wizards are available in Chaos mode, but the regular Wizard has a great modifier. Instead of spawning just one Wizard, it summons all three Wizards together.

That means you suddenly get the regular Wizard, Ice Wizard, and Electro Wizard at the same time. It’s great for stopping big pushes, but they all stand close together, so a big spell like Poison can shut them down.

Mortar

mortar modifier clash royale

Mortar is one of the few buildings you can use in Chaos mode. One of its modifiers makes it launch a Barbarian instead of a normal shell.

When the Barbarian lands, it deals some impact damage and then starts attacking nearby troops or the tower. Like the X-Bow, the key is to protect your Mortar.

Electro Wizard

electro wizard modifier clash royale

Electro Wizard is used in a lot of Chaos decks because of this crazy modifier. Once he targets a single enemy troop, his attack starts chaining across everything nearby. That includes other troops and even all three towers.

So the moment he gets in range, the electricity spreads everywhere and starts doing damage. This works really well with Golem, which is why you will often see it in Golem decks.

Vines

vines modifier clash royale

This modifier makes Vines keep spawning roots again and again in the same spot. Once you place it somewhere, the roots keep appearing there without you needing to use it again.

If you use it on your opponent’s tower, the roots will keep damaging the tower and any nearby troops.

Furnace

furnace modifier clash royale

With this modifier, Furnace spawns every type of spirit instead of just Fire Spirits. If your opponent doesn’t deal with it quickly, the spirits will cause a lot of damage.

To make things worse, the Heal Spirit keeps the Furnace alive. Your best bet is to use a big spell like Poison or Rocket to kill it right away.

Golem

golem modifier clash royale

Golem has a clever modifier. Every time someone shoots at it, it reflects the damage to the attacker. Think of it like the Monk’s ability, but way stronger because it lasts as long as the Golem is alive.

The Log

the log modifier clash royale

This Log is sneaky. It works like normal, but after it rolls, it spawns a Lumberjack. You can drop it on your opponent’s tower and catch them off guard. Once it starts hitting, it can deal serious damage fast.

Goblin Barrel

goblin barrel modifier clash royale

I’ve lost count of how many times I have lost to this modifier. Instead of normal Goblins, you get three Goblin Brawlers landing straight on the tower. This means most of the Goblin Barrel counters don’t work against it.
