Pokemon Pokopia Timed Research for Pokemon GO Event

To celebrate the successful launch of Pokemon Pokopia, Pokemon GO is currently hosting a Pokopia Celebration Event that lets players find new costumed Ditto and earn a bunch of rewards, such as Snorlax, Tangrowth, and Pikachu encounters.

How Long is the Pokopia Pokemon GO Event?

The Pokopia Celebration Event kicks off today, March 10, at 10 am local time and runs until March 16, at 8 pm local time.

What are the Event Bonuses?

The three event bonuses for the Pokopia Celebration Event are as follows:

• Double XP for spinning PokeStops.
• 10x XP for spinning a PokeStop for the first time.
• Increased odds of finding Shiny Sudowoodo and Shiny Zorua.

What are the Pokemon Debuts?

There aren’t any “new” Pokemon debuting during the event, but there are two new costumes (well, hats) for Ditto: a white cap with a blue Poke Ball and a yellow cap.

Challenge 1

For the first collection challenge, you need to catch Pikachu, Combee, Scyther, and Zorua. The reward is a Ditto wearing the white cap.

For the second one, catch Marill, Goomy, Hitmonchan, and Sudowoodo to get the Ditto wearing the yellow hat.
