How to Start Ghost of Yotei Legends
- Ghost of Yotei Legends can be started by pressing the Options button on your PS5 Controller, then by heading to the Settings tab.
- In the Settings tab, scroll down to find “Enter Legends Co-Op Mode” between “Save Game” and “Exit to Title Screen”.
- Alternatively, you can click “Enter Legends Co-Op Mode” from the Title Screen itself.
Once you’re inside Ghost of Yotei Legends for the first time, you’ll be required to complete a tutorial. This will take you through the basics of the online combat and gameplay loop, which is extremely useful for players who haven’t played Ghost of Yotei since completing the campaign.
The tutorial isn’t overly long, but it explains the basics, like assassinations, attacks, parries, blocking, and platforming. Once you’ve completed the tutorial by heading through the exit gate, you will enter the lobby, where you can find all sorts of activities.
What Modes Are in Ghost of Yotei Legends?
Legends Lobby, Explained
From the lobby, players can invite their friends to mess around with them through various activities. Alternatively, they can head to the central stone to click “Play” which will take them into the mode list. Here’s what you can expect:
- Zen Hajiki — play this minigame with friends to unlock new cosmetics and have friendly competitions between missions.
- Standard & Nightmare Bamboo Strikes — challenge your button-pressing skills and reach high leaderboards among friends.
- Training Room — Fight Yotei Six enemies to learn their moves and combat styles, while also learning the differences in their attack glints to help you master the combat.
- Change Class — a stone by the central one allows you to switch freely between the 4 Classes, where you can also customize them with new gear, perks, and cosmetics.
- Feats — A stone to the left of the central stone allows you to take a look at all the cosmetics in Ghost of Yotei Legends, and their unlock requirements.
- Play — the central stone allows for 3 different modes. There are two-player story missions, followed by a 4-player incursion where you fight a boss, along with 4-player survival missions that consist of wave defense.
