How to Find the Macho Brace in Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen

To find the Macho Brace in Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen players must first travel to Vermillion city and head east to find the Gate Building connecting to Route 12, and talk to Prof. Oak’s Assistant on the second floor to receive the Itemfinder.

This can only be done if they have caught or evolved 30 different species of Pokemon. Now, after that, there are two different things to do before acquiring the Macho Brace. The first is to defeat the Team Rocket entirely, and that means assaulting the Celadon City Basement, and then ousting them from Silph Co. in Saffron City.

How to Get the Coin Case in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen

You’ll need the Coin Case to go at the slots in Celadon.

Once players do that, the last 3 Gym Leaders will be unlocked (more or less). Sabrina in Saffron comes first, then Blaine in Cinnabar Island, and last but not least, Giovanni in Viridian City. Back to the beginning of the Pokemon Journey, players will have to face a fierce battle against Giovanni and his team composed of:

With a bit of skill and the corresponding counters, players will be able to defeat him in no time. Then, after his dialogue ends, he will disappear, leaving behind his duties as Gym Leader and the spot where he was standing free for players to look for using the Itemfinder.

Use the Itemfinder in the exact same spot as where Giovani was after defeating him to find the Macho Brace

As with the Soothe Bell and the Leftovers, the Macho Brace is a special Hidden Item that only reacts to the Itemfinder when the players are standing in the exact same spot where it is. So, standing right where Gym Leader Giovanni was and using the Itemfinder will make some bright stars to appear over the Trainer head, and after that, it wil lautomatically collect the Macho Brace.
