How to Make and Find Glass
You can get Glass in Pokemon Pokopia by using a Smelting Furnace and materials like Sand or Volcanic Ash. You can use Glass to make things that… well… have glass in it! How to Get Glass in Pokemon Pokopia
Smelting Furnace Is Your Friend
So, like we mentioned, you can use a Smelting Furnace to create glass with the help of a Pokemon with the Burn Specialty, like Scorbunny, Magmar, or Torkoal (all found in Rocky Ridges).
First, you’ll need to insert Volcanic Ash or Sand inside of it and then lead the Fire Pokemon to the furnace and let it do its job. It takes some time to get even just one piece of glass, so it might be best to place a lot of Ash or Sand in it and then go do something else while it smelts.
As for where to find Volcanic Ash, there’s literally tons of it near the Pokemon Center in Rocky Ridges. Look for the dark grey blocks to the west of the center (and that tall tower behind it) and break them using Rock Smash.
During our time in Rocky Ridges we ended up having hundreds of them in our inventory. As for Sand, it’s more common in other areas, like Bleak Bleach and the Withered Wastelands (look by the ocean).
You can also find glass by smashing any windows you may find while exploring. There’s a lot of abandoned homes out there with windows, so just break them to get the material without needing to use a Smelting Furnace!
If you don’t have access to a Smelting Furnace yet, just start following the main storyline in Rocky Ridges, and you’ll eventually befriend Magmar and learn about smelting. There will be a furnace in the caves, but once you get the recipe from Magmar, you can make one yourself at a crafting table using Iron Ore and Stone. Then, you can put one (or multiple) close to the Pokemon Center or by your home.
What Is Glass Used for in Pokemon Pokopia?
You can use Glass to craft mirrors or make certain homes, like a Gray Hut. You’ll also need 25 Glass to rebuild the Pokemon Center in the Sparkling Skylands biome, which you’ll unlock later on as you increase your Trainer Rank in Pokopia.
