How To Get Controlled Access Zone Key in ARC Raiders

As most of the Keys in ARC Raiders, players will depend on the RNG to actually find the Controlled Access Zone Key. On that note, the latest Patch (1.18) has greatly nerfed the spawn rate of certain items; Keys are among them. But, there are still some specific spots that have a higher chance of dropping keys, among them the Controlled Access Zone Key.

The First is on the same map: Dam Battlegrounds, in the Ruby Residence, Pale Appartments, and the Pattern House. All of these locations are placed relatively close to each other, so players can farm them fast, then go for another run if they don’t find the key they need. Plus, during special conditions like Night Raids, Cold Snap, Electromagnetic Storm, or Hurricane, the loot is greatly enhanced, and keys are some of the most probable items you can find in those cases.

Players can also find keys following the same parameters (map conditions that boost loot) in the following locations:

Buried City: Grandioso Apartments – Especially on the top floors.
Buried City: Hospital – Inside the Offices and the Laboratory
Buried City: Library – Cabinets and Study Room (2nd floor)
Stella Montis: Security Checkpoint – Lockers
The Blue Gate: Reinforced Reception – Lobby – Security Lockers

Where To Use The Controlled Access Zone Key in ARC Raiders (Door Location)

To find the Loot Room for the Controlled Access Zone Key, players need to head to the Dam Battlegrounds Map, and then direct their attention to the Pipeline Tower area, which now holds a new High-Tier Loot area called Controlled Access Zone.

Players can access this area through a zipline on the northwest wall of the dam or enter through the sewer access that is located between the corridors of the dam floodgates.

Once inside, players need to use a broken catwalk to climb to the top, reaching the same area where the new Puzzle is. Ignore the puzzle, and head past the doors until spotting a destroyed Rocketeer hanging from a web of cables. If players pay attention and look below it, they will immediately spot the door.

If players are accessing this area from the bottom, they need to climb the broken catwalks and stairs until they spot the door on the southwest side of the room.

There’s a small ladder hole that lands close to the locked door. This is the third access to the Controlled Access Zone and the fastest route to the Loot Room, but be careful, as it is also the one exposed to the roaming Rocketeer (or Bastion on Night Raids) that always spawns there.

Use the Controlled Access Zone Key here to enter a small room with lots of cabinets to the left, some desks in the middle, and some drawers on the right side. There’s often a couple of grenade Tubes on the back of the room, or a Medical Bag. Players can also find a Security Breach Locker in the upper right corner of the room.

But what should interest players the most are the drawers, since these have a high chance of dropping weapons like the Tempest, Torrente, and Wolpack Grenades. During Night Raids and Hurricane, it is also possible to find the Wolfpack Grenade Blueprint here.
