Paladin Rescue Storyline Guide in World of Warcraft Midnight
Missing Paladins
Players can start the Paladin Rescue storyline by accepting the Missing Paladins quest from Salandria once they hit Level 90. That NPC is at the top of the stairs just east of the Sanctum of Light in Silvermoon City (/way 53.16 69.70), and her precise position is marked on the preceding maps. Once you accept Missing Paladins, simply hop on your flying mount, make your way down to the Sanctum of the Moon‘s entrance, and speak with Salandria (/way 44.10 66.98).
Twilight Missive, Signs of Struggle, & A Somber Sun
Players should now get the Twilight Missive quest from Salandria and the Signs of Struggle quest from Taelia Fordragon, the NPC standing directly next to Salandira. To complete these quests, players must simply dispatch the enemies around the Sanctum of the Moon, which can drop Twilight’s Blade Missives, and collect the six arms that are scattered throughout the location. Make sure to climb the ramp inside the location’s main building when searching for arms.
There is also a corpse at the top of that ramp that initiates the A Somber Sun quest, and players should make sure to accept it before returning to Salandria and Taelia.
Captured Information
After turning in the three Sanctum of the Moon quests, speak with Salandria and start the Captured Information quest. Now head to the southwest corner of the Sanctum of the Moon (/way 42.14 69.24), and reduce the Isolated Shadecaster’s HP to zero to capture him. Lead the captive along the adjacent dirt path to reach Hollow Grove (/way 41.54 and 72.18) and speak with Salandria.
Interrogation
Players can now get the Interrogation quest from Salandria, which is completed by using three abilities on the Captured Shadecaster until the quest bar is filled. Speak with Salandria to turn in the quest when the job is done.
To the Ruins of Deatholme, Blessings of Freedom, Executing Blades, & Leave Ashes in Your Wake
Now talk to Taelia to start the To the Ruins of Deatholme quest, and fly to the Ruins of Deatholme at the south end of Eversong Woods (/way 44.43 81.23). After completing that quest by speaking with Taelia, get the Blessings of Freedom, Executing Blades, and Leave Ashes in Your Wake quests from that NPC and Salandria. Those quests center around rescuing NPCs from cages, slaying Cultists, and wrecking the camp, and all these tasks are completed within the ruins.
Deatholme is filled with elite mobs, and working with other players on these quests is recommended.
Cutting off the Head
With the Deatholme quests resolved, speak with Salandria and Taelia, who will be accompanying you, to complete them. Then accept the Cutting off the Head quest from Salandria, and make your way to the southwest corner of the Ruins of Deatholme (/way 41.28 88.53). Here you will find Overseer Mognak, and you must slay him before meeting the rescued paladins just north of the Ruins of Deatholme (/way 44.48 81.07). Salandria will also appear at this location, and players should speak with her to turn in Cutting off the Head and to complete the Paladin Rescue storyline.
