We’ve provided more detailed steps for you to follow below!
How to Get Marie’s Doll in Resident Evil Requiem
The first step requires you to enter the Basement section of the Care Center. On your hunt for the Joint Plugs, you will eventually make your way to the Processing plant via the Inspection room, thanks to the Forklift Key.
While in the Processing room, you will need to stand and watch 115 bodies drop into the pool of blood, which takes around 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, turn the wheel to drain the blood and head down the ladder.
You will now need to let the grinder complete its cycle without you personally killing any zombies. Feel free to shoot them in the legs to stun them, but ensure that all of them get eaten by the grinder with none left alive.
Now, progress through the Basement as normal until you return to the Care Center. From inside the Care Center, head into the West Wing and enter the Restrooms, where you can then interact with any toilet to flush it 8 times.
Continue progressing through the Care Center until you exit to the Courtyard and reach the Facility. After acquiring the Helicopter Key, you will be tasked with escaping the Facility. Once the giant vial of blood smashes in the Collecting & Testing room, head towards the stairs, and you will find Marie’s Doll.
Now that you have Marie’s Doll, you will want to deposit it into the Item Box within the Guard Station. With Marie’s Doll in the Item Box, you will need to complete the main story and then start a new game.
How to Use the Severed Hand in Resident Evil Requiem
In your second playthrough, after completing the game with Marie’s Doll in the Item Box, progress through the Care Center and complete the Basement section. You can now find the Severed Hand at the Elevator.
With the Severed Hand in your inventory, return to the Laser Microscope (there’s one in the East Wing’s Blood Lab or the West Wing’s Office). Click Analyze on the Severed Hand, and complete the atom puzzle by interacting with the furthest left node, middle node, and furthest right node, to be met with a unique screen:
“Let’s play. GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU“
How to Complete the Final Puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem
After completing the Severed Hand puzzle, enter the Guard Office and take Marie’s Doll from the Item Box. Now, pick up Emily and carry her to the Lead Researcher’s Office in the East Wing (2F).
Inside, you will find that the Sun Puzzle Box can be interacted with. You can now input the following code into the Sun Puzzle Box:
| Sun, Sun, Star | Sun, Moon, Star | Sun, Moon, Sun | Moon, Star Moon |
|
Code |
Input Sequence |
|---|---|
|
GGC |
Sun, Sun, Star |
|
GUC |
Sun, Moon, Star |
|
GUG |
Sun, Moon, Sun |
|
UCU |
Moon, Star, Moon |
With Marie’s Doll in your inventory, and while carrying Emily, you will hear a child’s laugh after inputting the correct code, which completes The Final Puzzle!
All Final Puzzle Rewards in Resident Evil Requiem
Some players might be asking, “What do you get for completing The Final Puzzle?” The answer is 20,000 CP from the Challenge List. There’s no achievement/trophy associated with The Final Puzzle, and there’s no secret cutscene that teases a new game. It’s just a fun challenge for CP.
Below, we’ll share the step-by-step process that allowed us to find the correct sequence for the Sun Puzzle Box. However, in your own game, you only need to do the Marie’s Doll and Severed Hand step.
How to Solve the Laser Microscope Puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem
The “G” Clue
The first step in translating “GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU” comes from the Laser Microscope in the Care Center. If you head to the Laser Microscope within the Blood Lab, East Wing, you will be able to interact with the machine to see some writing on the bottom that reads “G = 150,000,000”.
The distance between the Earth and the Sun is 150,000,000 km, which means that the “G” in the Severed Hand puzzle translates to “Sun”.
How to Use the Hourglass in Resident Evil Requiem
The “U” Clue
After escaping the Care Center with the three Quartz boxes, you will enter the Courtyard. From the Helipad, you can enter the house and venture into the VIP Suite. From within, you can find an Hourglass sitting in view, which can be picked up and added to your inventory.
With the Hourglass, examine it from your inventory and remove the top screws. You can now turn the Hourglass upside down to let the sand drain, which will reveal the next clue: “U = 380,000”. The distance between the Earth and the Moon is 380,000 km, which means that “U” in the Severed Hand puzzle translates to “Moon”.
How to Solve the Grace Ashcroft Blood Analysis Report Puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem
The “C” Clue
The third clue can be found within the Private Lab, which is within the Care Center Courtyard’s Facility Level, after the Helipad and VIP Suite. From within the Private Lab, you can find the Grace Ashcroft Blood Analysis Report on a desk by the computer. This file is far more important than you’d think.
The Grace Ashcroft Blood Analysis Report reads “C = 4.2 ly”, which is the distance in light-years between Earth and the nearest Star that isn’t the Sun. This means that “C” in the Severed Hand puzzle translates to “Star”.
How to Solve the Doll Head Puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem
The “A” Clue
Once you reach Raccoon City Center as Leon, you will want to progress to the point where you’re out of the R.P.D. and heading to the Orphanage. You will enter Gun Shop Kendo on your way, and you’ll find a headless figure in the rubble. To find the head, you need to enter the nearby Basketball Court after the boss fight.
You’ll find the toy’s head in the Basketball Court, and you can walk into it to move it around. You need to push the toy’s head into the basketball hoop ring that’s on the floor (north). Once achieved, a sound cue will play, and you can inspect the hoop to see the “There’s no time for playing around.” message.
After reading this message, head back to the headless doll in Gun Shop Kendo, and you can now interact with it. Interacting with the headless doll will reveal the new message “Just ignore A.” This indicates that with the Severed Hand puzzle, the sequence ignores the letter A, which makes the new Sun Puzzle Box code: GGC GUC GUG UCU.
While we’re not sure why Marie’s Doll steps are so complex, the solution makes sense. The pair is Emily and Marie, and the voice is the laughter that they hear together.
