The story of The Sims 4 Lost Legacies event concludes with the Royal Envoy attempting to escape by taking the ferry near the Blue Velvet Nightclub. Players are then tasked with confronting her with the truth and deciding how to handle the situation.

Should You Report or Forgive the Royal Envoy in The Sims 4?

Players have two possible interactions when they select the Royal Envoy after intercepting her escape: Forgive or Report Activities. They have to decide whether they will report her crimes to the noble families from whom she’s stolen or forgive her and request that she stop stealing.

Gamers had to complete four weeks’ worth of quests to reach this point, and making this choice can feel like a big deal to many players, which is why they might be asking themselves whether they should report the Royal Envoy or not.

However, that is not the case. The only difference between reporting or forgiving the Royal Envoy is the text notification that players will receive after making their choice. The Royal Envoy will despawn regardless and remain in the player’s Relationship Panel for some time, but they will not be able to invite her over to the current lot or interact with her besides text messages. The relationship between the player and the envoy will remain unaltered.

What Happens If You Forgive the Royal Envoy?

Players who decide to forgive the Royal Envoy will see the following text notification:

Marina, the Envoy, sighs with relief and smiles as they say, “Thank you so much, Beatrice, for not turning me in. I saw an opportunity and got carried away. Do everyone a favor and look after those treasures. I might pay them a surprise visit one day.” With that, Marina leaves for now.
