How long to Beat Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 (All Levels)
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 has several levels and puzzles you’ll need to get through in order to beat it, let’s discuss how long it is.
What are Memories & How to Use Them in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5
Players will need to find three memories (chips) in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 that are scattered around the area. These memory chips must be placed inside the readers/terminals, and players must step into the large machine and pull the lever to view/relive them.
Now, you can either play the contents of each memory chip as you find them, or simply first collect all memories and then play them at once. Regardless of your preference, you’ll only get the door code after playing all three memories on the machine.
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 First Memory Location
Finding the first memory chip is easy, as it’s lying on the ground, right in front of the machine. Simply pick it up and insert it into any of the machines. While the first one was easier, finding the other two will require you to solve some puzzles. So, let’s get to it.
The contents of the memory won’t be spoiled in this guide, as you should experience it firsthand.
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 Second Memory Location
To find the second memory in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, players must exit the room with the machine, enter the corridor, and take the blue door to the right. In this Poppy Gel infested hallway, you’ll find a blue door to the left with a Hand Scanner. This will lead you to the puzzle room that you’ll need to solve in order to get the second memory chip.
After entering the room, make sure to switch Glowby to Blacklight mode and inspect the red valves. Each valve has a shape drawn alongside it, which will be crucial for solving the puzzle.
Now, head up the metallic staircase and turn immediately right towards the open area. You’ll find the clue for solving the puzzle on the wall to the right. Memorize the order of shapes on the wall, and you’ll have to activate four valves in the exact order of these shapes.
Once you’ve activated the first three valves, you’ll finally arrive at the last valve with a lever on the right. After rotating the final valve, pull the lever to complete the first part of the puzzle. Doing this will ventilate all the red smoke out of the ship room upstairs, which holds the second memory chip we’re looking for.
Now head back upstairs and go into the left corridor. There’s a destroyed room at the end of the corridor with the entrance blocked by debris. Use your GrabPack to grab the handle of the red door on the other side to reveal a fire panel to charge up your Conductive Hand.
Once your Conductive Hand has the fire element, go inside the room on the left to spot a burner station. Turn the valve of the station until the gas starts flowing. Touch the flowing gas with your Conductive Hand, charged by fire to cause a small explosion and burst the beaker into glass shards.
The explosive will cause a crack in the window at the back, where you can use your Pressure Hand to shatter it. Now, you can enter the room with the model of the ship and pick up the second memory chip in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5.
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 Third Memory Location
To get the third memory in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, return to the corridor outside the machine and shimmy through the tight space to the left of the boxes. Use the Blue Hand on the hand scanner and open up the double doors to enter the Conditioning department.
As soon as you go through the blue double doors, immediately turn left and go down the corridor on the left. Enter the room in the middle to find an electricity panel to charge up your Conductive Hand.
Once you know where the electricity panel is to charge up your Conductive Hand, you’ll need to visit four different rooms and activate the overhead projector.
Each room will play propaganda footage that little children were conditioned with. You’ll start with the rooms that are open (green light), and others will unlock as you keep activating projectors.
When you move from the left corridor to the right one, activating overhead projectors, you’ll finally open the middle door in the right corridor with the fire panel. You can charge your Conductive Hand with the fire element, which will let you burn any obstructions.
After charging up your Conductive Hand, head up the stairs to your left, into the main office above. Use the fire-infused Hand to burn the bow tied to the door, and unlock the door to the main office in Conditioning.
After stepping into the office, Gracie Green, you’ll be able to pick up the third memory chip from the desk.
