Famous Japanese singer, Akiko Wada, makes a cameo in Yakuza Kiwami 3 as Akko-san, an in-game celebrity with her own TV show, and an army of fans who adore her talents. Not only can Kiryu come across her to listen to her sing a wonderful rendition of the beloved Baka Mitai, but Kiryu can also make use of her talents by recruiting her as a Haisai Girl.

Akko-san is referred to as the “OG” Baddie by the Haisai Girls, so whether you want to get the “Leave It All to Akko-san!” trophy for your collection, or you want a Hasai Girl who will dominate the battlefield in the Bad Boy Dragon storyline, we’ve got you covered on how to get Akko-san in your squad, step-by-step.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 features a Bad Boy Dragon storyline in which Kiryu can recruit Haisai Girls and grow an army of Baddies to defend Ryukyu.

How to Find & Complete Substory #17: Leave It All To Akko-san! In Okinawa!

Step 1 of Recruiting Akko-san

In Chapter 4, you will be tasked with entering Downtown Ryukyu. Just in front of the Kariyushi Arcade, a cutscene will begin and introduce you to Akko-san. Simply approach her (if you haven’t already) and you can get interviewed, but don’t worry about the dialogue options you pick, as they do not matter.

Kiryu will now follow Akko-san through the Public Market and fight some punks, and the mission will finish off with Akko-san singing a song of his choice, but we always recommend Baka Mitai. After this small scene, Akko-san’s first substory will be completed, and players will have to complete one more substory to unlock her as a Haisai Girl.

How to Find & Complete Substory #18: Leave It All To Akko-san! In Tokyo!

Step 2 of Recruiting Akko-san

Once you have completed Substory #17: Leave It All To Akko-san! In Okinawa, you will need to have played through the Bad Boy Dragon questline until the Haisai Girls set up their base in Kamurocho. This is achieved at Infamy Rank 4 with the Haisai Girls, where you can then complete the Total Annihilation: Okinawa’s Last Stand.

Shortly after, and usually at the start of Chapter 6, you will receive an email from Dokuzawa that states that the Haisai Girls have made their base in Kamurocho. You should now venture to Tenkaichi St. Entrance in Kamurocho, where you will enter a small cutscene where Kiryu remembers to text Akko-san.

You’ll have to then meet Akko-san at Sushi Gin, which is a small restaurant north of W Showa St. Upon meeting Akko-san, you will play karaoke with her, where your first task is to cheer her on in Casual or Passionate mode (the mode you choose and the score you get do not matter). Then, it’s your turn to play some karaoke, and the same rules apply.

After karaoke, Kiryu and Akko-san will run into some punks to fight on the street, and after fighting them, Kiryu and Akko-san will run into the Haisai Girls, and she will be recruited into the gang.
