High on Life 2 Jeppy Hide and Seek Locations
Once you’ve had a pretty awkward dinner with your mom and your sister Lizzie, then rescued your dad from a cult of aliens in Wyoming, you’ll be able to freely explore the Circuit Arcadia Zoo in High on Life 2. The thing is, a brand-new character in this comedic sequel needs you to look after them on a trip they’ve been looking forward to.
Jeppy is an excitable alien who can only say his name. Also, it turns out, after the events of the game’s opening montage, he’s your half-brother. Anyway, before we think too long about that, all we need to know for the ‘Playdate With Jeppy’ objective is that we need to have fun with him for mom’s sake, and make sure we don’t lose him by finding the three High on Life 2 Jeppy hide and seek locations.
How to Get the Vet Building Keycard in High on Life 2
A security guard is the only person with the key card you need to progress in High on Life 2, and you’ll need to get violent.
How to Start Playdate With Jeppy in High on Life 2
Once you’ve killed Senator Muppy Doo, solved the murder of Larry Pinkstock, and saved your dad, you’ll have the chance to explore Circuit Arcadia Zoo and start this quest. It triggers when you get near the Circuit Arcadia Zoo Gift Shop — there’s a fast travel point right next to it. When you get near the Gift Shop entrance, your mom will call you asking you to play with Jeppy.
Next, you’ll be prompted to release your half-brother from his Porta-Ball. At this point, you’ll be given a checklist of tasks to complete as part of the quest:
- Visit the Petting Zoo
- Hide and Seek
- Photo Op
Some players have reported that this objective is easily missed and cannot be attempted again. Take extra care in following Jeppy and not losing him; you may miss out on the associated achievement, especially because you can’t manually save in High on Life 2.
Once released, Jeppy races off straight away. Follow him, don’t lose him, and keep him out of trouble. Eventually, you’ll follow him until he gets stuck inside a pen with some aliens that look like red toads — use Gus’ vacuum ability to rescue him. You’ll need to do this at several points in this part of the quest, so be ready to use it whenever Jeppy looks like he’s about to touch something he shouldn’t.
High on Life 2 Jeppy Hide and Seek locations
After the Petting Zoo incident, following Jeppy takes you back to the square outside the Gift Shop where you started. Once there, Gus suggests a game of hide and seek, which means your screen will go black while he counts to ten and Jeppy hides. You won’t need to travel far for any of these, but Jeppy’s hiding spots aren’t marked for you anywhere, so here they are:
Jeppy Hide and Seek Location 1
The first hiding spot is pretty much straight in front of where you start the game of hide and seek, bearing slightly right. He’s inside a water feature in the main square outside the Gift Shop, just behind a translucent barrier.
Jeppy Hide and Seek Location 2
Next, head inside the Gift Shop. This time, Jeppy is behind the sunglasses on the right side of the back of the shop.
Jeppy Hide and Seek Location 3
The third location is the toughest to find, but you still don’t have to travel far for it. Opposite the Gift Shop, but outside the square and a level above it, is the Spaceforest Café — you’ll remember it as the place your mom chose for the uncomfortable family dinner. You’ll find Jeppy just in front of the sign, and you’ll need to use Gus’ vacuum ability again to get him down.
Once you’ve done this, follow Jeppy to complete the final part of the mission, the Photo Op. Once you’ve done that, follow Jeppy to the café entrance, and your mom will check in on you. This completes the quest, and you’ll get the hidden ‘Nice Day With Jeppy’ achievement for your troubles.
