How to Get Ruckus in the Sanctuary Trophy/Achievement in Nioh 3
Compared to the previous Nioh games, Nioh 3 has a much easier Platinum, mainly because some of the more grindy trophies are not needed anymore. One of the confusing trophies or achievements is Ruckus in the Sanctuary.
To get this, players will have to play through the main story and complete the first map in the game, Warring States, and then they can complete one of the missions in Heian to get it. Though confusing, the achievement is not missable, and the guide below details how players can get it in Nioh 3.

Frost Moon abilities are great for extending and finishing combos in Nioh 3. Here’s how to use them.
How to Get Ruckus in the Sanctuary Trophy/Achievement in Nioh 3
To get the trophy, you will have to complete the Black Feather Sanctuary mission, which involves purifying a barrier at Matsuo-taisha Shrine. During the main story mission, you will encounter a large raven that perches atop the Tori Gates. It will then shoot projectiles at you from afar, and you must take cover behind the ice barricades while making your way closer to the raven so it disappears.
If you made the crow fly away by getting close to it in your initial run of the mission, then you will miss out on this trophy because the requirements of the achievement are to shoot the raven with a bow or a gun. If you are using a gun, then a single shot should be more than enough to make it fly away, while a bow might need 2-3 shots. You have to repeat this three times in all three locations that the crow spawns in, all the way to the boss of this mission.
If you missed doing this, then go to the Battle Scroll, and you should have an option to replay the Black Feather Sanctuary mission at any time. Your objective will be to simply make the raven fly away by shooting at it, then making your way to the boss, Otoroshi, and defeating it. Once the boss is defeated and the quest is complete, the trophy will pop immediately.
Tips on Defeating Otoroshi in Nioh 3
The boss has a lot of attacks where it will disappear and teleport on top of you to perform a command grab or slam attack. These are the main attacks that you need to be careful of, especially if you aren’t that high level when fighting the boss. If you are more comfortable with the Ninja Style, then use as many Ninjutsu skills as you can. The Shrapnel Bomb or the Calamity attacks are very effective against this boss.
During the second phase, the boss stands up, and there are a few changes in some of its attacks, but the rest stay the same. Don’t forget to use your Summoning Seals as well; some of the high-level ones can deal a lot of damage to the boss, which might be the deciding factor in some attempts.
