High on Life 2 players will have plenty of enemies standing in between them and their mission, but one of your early ones isn’t really an enemy at all: he’s just in the wrong place at the wrong time. As you try to track down Lizzie in the first mission, you need to gain access to the Vet Building, but an unfortunate security guard is in your way, and it might not be clear at first what to do. High on Life 2 Vet Building Key Card: How to Gain The Access Card From the Security Guard
As you follow the main path in the Justin Roiland-free High on Life 2, you’ll encounter a security guard standing in your path on the way to the Vet Building, just like the multiple security guards stopping you from getting into the zoo at the very start of the first quest. But, unlike that earlier moment where you can’t hurt them, you’ll need a different approach here. Start by using Sweezy’s Time Bubble ability to get past the guard initially.
Next, you’ll find yourself in a small area just outside the entrance to the Vet Building. However, when you try to open the door on your left, you realize you can’t enter without the key card in the security guard’s possession, and he’s not letting you have it.
Up to this point, you’re unable to hurt the guard, with Sweezy suggesting you find a non-violent way to progress, especially since the guard has already told you it’s his last day before he retires. The thing is, there’s actually no other choice than to kill him. You just need to wait until you’re able to use your guns, or Knifey, on him. If you were thinking it was any more complicated than that, you’d be wrong.
In other words, to get the Vet Building Key Card in High on Life 2, simply attack the guard once you’re able to. Once he’s down, you’ll be able to press the button that lets you into the building. If, though, you’d still like an opportunity to be the good guy, you’ll have the chance to go back to the guard and put him out of his misery, because your first attack won’t have finished him off.
