Doors that are barricaded with wooden planks will require players to use the Crowbar to jimmy them open. However, finding the Crowbar is a bit tricky as it’s located deep within the Cinema. Fret not, as this guide will show you how to get the Crowbar in REANIMAL and open up any boarded-up doors in no time.

How to Get the Crowbar & Open Boarded-Up Doors in REANIMAL

To get the Crowbar in REANIMAL, players will need to go through the chained-up door inside the Cinema to enter the auditorium with a movie playing. All the watchers are asleep, which will give you a good opportunity to sneak through the row of seats and reach the left side of the room.

While you’re sneaking through the rows of seats, Sniffer will enter the room and open up a locked door to the left. Once it’s gone, go through the same door and enter the Cinema’s hallway. Go straight up to the exit, and you’ll enter the alleyway behind the Cinema.

Once you’re in the alley, the double doors in front of you will be locked. Don’t worry, as you’ll be able to shimmy through the hole in the wall right next to it. Inside the building, you’ll spot a couple of boomers sleeping over the dining table. It’s safe to run around and exit the room through the door to the far left.

Exiting the dining room will get you to the open area with a playground. From here, head to the dumpster marked in the image above. You and your companion will need to move the dumpster to the right and enter through the window behind it.

The window will lead you to a room with some washing machines and the Sniffer ironing…something (probably a new skin-suit). You’ll need to crouch and move through this area to avoid alerting the Sniffer. If the Sniffer becomes alerted by your presence, simply hide in one of the washing machines that aren’t running. There’s a vent next to the door on the left side of the room that you’ll need to use to progress ahead.

You’ll enter the bathing room with a couple of skins hanging from the ceiling, over bathtubs. All you need to do here is hide from the sniffer by taking cover behind the bathtubs. Hide long enough to throw the Sniffer off your scent (pun intended), so it goes away to the next room, conveniently opening the door for you.

After successfully evading the Sniffer, you’ll enter the room with several cages. Keep heading left and crouch walk through the broken fence to find a Crowbar in REANIMAL sticking out of a dead Boomer. Pull the Crowbar out of the body and use it to free your friend from their prison.

Now all you need to do is survive a couple of chase sequences, which should be a problem since you’ve survived the hard part. Once you’ve successfully back-tracked your way back to the Village square, head to the boarded-up door and open it up to progress to the next area in REANIMAL.
