There are 10 crops that you can grow in the Morning Glory Garden, and each of them requires a certain amount of land and an upgraded soil level to plant. Each crop is used for a different ingredient, and they require different times before they grow and become harvestable, which we’ve listed below:

Carrot

Pests can often reduce the amount of crops you can harvest. With a Scarecrow placed, you have a higher chance of preventing pests, and these last for a long time. This can be achieved by selecting the “Tend Vegetable Garden”, then “Manage Garden”, which allows you to enter “Scarecrow Placement”. Better Scarecrows can even increase the amount of crops that you get upon harvesting!

Some crops take far longer to grow than others. To save time, you can enter the “Tend Vegetable Garden” menu and select “Add Fertilizer”. By adding Fertilizer, you can instantly reduce the time it takes for plants to grow, and there’s no limit to the amount of Fertilizer you can use.

How to Upgrade the Garden in Yakuza Kiwami 3

Get More Plots & Crops!

If you want to grow better crops that yield greater rewards, like Strawberries and Pumpkins, you will need to upgrade your Garden. To upgrade the Garden, you will need Funds. These are a separate currency from Kiryu’s Yen earnings, and they can be earned through the Morning Glory General Store.

Players can earn Funds by completing tasks on the bulletin board, which are often related to helping the kids or by growing the requested crops for neighbors. With enough Funds, you can select the “Tend Vegetable Garden” sign, then “Manage Garden”, and “Upgrade Soil / Expand Garden”. Each plot upgrade will go up by 10,000 Yen, so your Level 2 upgrade is 20,000 Yen, and your Level 5 upgrade is 50,000 Yen.
