How to Increase Daddy Rank in Yakuza Kiwami 3
There are multiple ways to increase Daddy Rank in Yakuza Kiwami 3, and we’ll list each of them below and explain further which ones are the best to do:
- Help the kids with homework
- Use ingredients to cook dishes
- Sew the requested items for the kids
- Partake in Bug Catching Competitions
- Play Dragon Reversi with the kids
- Grow crops at the Morning Glory Market Garden
- Go fishing at the beach in front of Morning Glory
Each of these fun activities will reward you with Daddy Rank Points, but in our experience, cooking is one of the fastest ways to increase Daddy Rank as it helps increase the bond with all 8 children, instead of 1 at a time. Homework and Sewing are also great activities, as they’re highly engaging, only take a minute or two, and can be repeated.
Bug Catching also has a fun side story that’s worth playing, and selecting different kids each time, and winning against them, will reward further bond and Daddy Rank Points!
Once you’ve reached a Daddy milestone, you will need to collect ingredients for the kids’ Cooking Requests, and then talk to Haruka in the Morning Glory kitchen to attempt to make the requested dish. If you succeed, you’ll graduate to the next Daddy Rank!

By increasing your Daddy Rank, you will unlock additional recipes to cook, along with 8 unique substories involving each of the Morning Glory kids. This is great for completionists, as there are 5 trophies related to the Morning Glory activities and the Daddy Rank.
