Starsand Island Become a Junior Crafter Quest

By newsgame

“Become a Junior Crafter” is one of the earliest quests you can complete in Starsand Island, and we highly recommend doing it as soon as possible, as it introduces you to many of the resources you can find on the island. You’ll also receive a pair of rollerblades at the end of the quest, which are a very handy way to get around the island quickly.

To help you get your hands on these skates as soon as possible, we have a complete walkthrough for the Become a Junior Crafter quest in Starsand Island below, including the Become a Junior Crafter rewards.

Once you speak with Zerine and start the “Become a Junior Crafter” quest in Starsand Island, your goal is to make a pair of rollerblades. Here’s how to do that, step-by-step:

Step 1 – Make 2 Copper Sheets

Your first step in the “Become a Junior Crafter” quest is to make x2 Copper Sheets at the Cutter. It costs x1 Copper Ingot and x1 Copper to make x1 Copper Sheet.

One Copper Ingot is made at the Furnace with x4 Copper and x1 Charcoal

Step 2 – Craft an Ore Analyzer

After you make x2 Copper Sheets, use them (plus x8 Hardwood) to craft an Ore Analyzer at the Worktable, then place the Ore Analyzer wherever you like.

Step 3 – Collect 5 Common Ore Chunks

Next up, you need to go to Moonlit Forest and collect x5 Common Ore Chunks in Starsand Island. You do this by mining veins such as Copper, Tin, and Fluorite, which is helpful, as you also need to get x12 of each of these materials as part of your subquest. However, keep in mind that Common Ore Chunks are a random drop, so you’re not guaranteed to get one each time you mine a vein.

Once you’ve found x5 Common Ore Chunks in the Moonlit Forest, head back to your Ore Analyzer.

Step 4 – Get 5 Ancient Gear Parts

Use the five Common Ore Chunks you collected in the forest at your Ore Analyzer to get x5 Ancient Gear Parts. If you don’t get a total of 5 Ancient Gear Parts, you’ll have to go back and get more Common Ore Chunks to analyze.

Step 5 – Make 2 Bronze and 3 Radiant Core

At this point, the game might be telling you to craft Copper, but you actually need to make x2 Bronze and x3 Radiant Core, as these are the materials you have to use in order to make rollerblades — the end goal of this quest.

One Bronze is made at the Furnace with x1 Charcoal, x1 Tin Ingot, and x1 Copper Ingot.

One Radiant Core is made at the Furnace with x1 Charcoal and x4 Fluorite.

Step 6 – Craft Rollerblades

It’s finally time to craft those Verdant Breeze rollerblades! To do this, you need to use the following materials at a Worktable:

  • x2 Bronze
  • x3 Radiant Core
  • x5 Ancient Parts

Once the rollerblades are crafted, head back to Zerine and show them to her. You’ll complete the “Become a Junior Crafter” quest and unlock more handy blueprints from Zerine’s General Store.
