How to Get the Quasar Cannon

The Quasar Cannon is listed under the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon Stratagem, which can be purchased under the Engineering Bay Stratagems at the Ship Management for 7,5000 Requisition Slips at Level 18. Once purchased, you can add the Quasar Cannon to your loadout under the Supply Stratagems, and it has the Stratagem Code: Down, Down, Up, Left, Right.

The Quasar Cannon takes around 7.75 seconds to arrive when called, and thankfully, it can be called as many times as you’d like, so long as you wait for the 410-second cooldown. Along with its infinite ammo, you’ll only ever need to call for another Quasar Cannon if you die with one and it’s too far away to collect.

How to Use the Quasar Cannon

The Quasar Cannon is a single-shot weapon capable of destroying one target at a time. It has a charge time of 4 seconds and a reload time of 15 seconds. Thankfully, the reload is automatic, meaning you can switch weapons and wait for this Energy Weapon to charge itself back up to full power.

The Quasar Cannon is an Anti-Tank weapon, meaning it’s best used against targets with Medium Armor, Heavy Armor, and Tank Armor. The Quasar Cannon is not designed for light infantry units, and instead should be used on more intimidating heavy enemies, like Hulks, Chargers, Bile Titans, Tanks, Factory Striders, Stingrays, and Harvesters.

The Quasar Cannon is also great at destroying enemy structures and camps, like Mortar Emplacements, Shrieker Nests, Fabricators, Nests, Ships, and more.

If you have a Personal Order to get 45 kills with the Quasar Cannon, we recommend Automaton missions with decent range and a 40-minute timer. This is due to the fact that the Quasar Cannon has no damage drop-off, so shooting from a distance is preferred, and Automaton units usually keep their distance and are protected by heavy units that can be killed in one shot by the Quasar Cannon.
