Final Fantasy 7 Remake The Party Never Stops Sick People Locations

By newsgame

‘The Party Never Stops’ in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of several side quests available in the vibrant underbelly of Wall Market. It sends you all over the area as you meet the area’s weird and wonderful inhabitants, but it’s possible you won’t see this quest at all, depending on the decisions you’ve made before this point.

So, this isn’t your ordinary FF7 Remake side quest. The way it plays out also depends on the extent to which you’ve used certain Materia, so this guide will help you with the different places this set of optional objectives can go, including how to find up to three sick people left unmarked on your map.

Updated on February 3, 2026: This FF7 Remake guide for ‘The Party Never Stops‘ side quest has been fully rewritten to offer readers more information on how to complete the mission.

How to Unlock Chocobo Sam’s Quests in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Before chapter 9, ‘The Town That Never Sleeps,’ every FF7 Remake player will experience the same missions. However, as Chapter 9 progresses, you’ll be making decisions that impact future side quests available to you without realizing it. When those choices are made, the game diverges into one of two branches: Chocobo Sam’s quests and Madam M’s.

You’ll encounter both characters through the main story as you try to rescue Tifa from Don Corneo, but you’ll unlock ‘The Party Never Stops’ and ‘The Price of Thievery’ if you’re on Chocobo Sam’s branch, and ‘A Dynamite Body’ and ‘Shears’ Counterattack’ on Madam M’s. The only difference in terms of end-of-quest reward is that you get a Real Calling Card from ‘The Price of Thievery,’ which serves no gameplay function.

To add ‘The Party Never Stops’ to your available quests, ensure you make the following decisions, the first being available when you speak to Chocobo Sam just before you enter Wall Market:

  • When Sam wants you to guess the outcome of a coin flip, choose heads or tails.
  • When describing Tifa to Sam, say she’s “in great shape.”
  • Agree with Johnny once you’ve completed the Discovery, ‘Vagabond Johnny.’ You will see this as part of the main quest, on the way to Corneo’s Mansion.
  • Choose the Poor Man’s Massage when offered by Madam M.
  • Say Aerith’s current outfit is “alright.”
  • Decline the offer of a room by the innkeeper.
  • Drink the mystery drink in the side area while waiting for the first Colosseum fight, when given the chance.

If you do all of these things, you’re guaranteed to be on Chocobo Sam’s path, giving you the chance to experience ‘The Party Never Stops.’

How Your Materia Level Impacts The Party Never Stops in FF7 Remake

In several cases during this side quest, the outcome can be influenced by the level of certain Materia in your possession. The first of these comes when you’re trying to find a secret button to unlock a quest item from a Materia shop. You’re looking to acquire ‘The Sauce,’ but if you’ve assessed a certain number of enemies with the Assess Materia, you’ll also get Vitalabrew, Crimson Spike, and a Moogle Medal.

Later, when you visit the restaurant owner, you’ll be asked to help him figure out why his food has been tasting worse lately. Cloud will be able to offer better advice depending on the level of your fire, ice, or lightning Materia. If one of these is higher than another for you, choose that one in your response by matching the element to the potential issue:

  • Stove means fire.
  • Fridge means ice.
  • Power supply means lightning.

If your Materia is level 2, you’ll get a Remedy and a Moogle Medal for level 3. Whatever happens, you’ll get the Medicine Voucher you need to progress the quest.

FF7 Remake Sick People Locations

The final way your Materia impacts this quest is when you’re asked by a pharmacist to heal up to three sick people in the area. If your Cleansing Materia is level 1, there will be one sick person to find, and so on:

  • The first sick person is in the toilet in the corner of the Drunkard’s Den.
  • The second is in the alley near the Honey Bee Inn.
  • The final sick person is south of the Massage Parlor.

Once you’ve found the sick people you’ve been asked to help, depending on your Cleansing Materia level, you’ll be rewarded with a Turbo Ether and your HP and MP fully restored.
