Genshin Impact 6.4 Banner Characters Leaked
Datamining from the Genshin Impact beta has revealed that Varka will be accompanied by Flins, Escoffier, and Skirk on the Event Banners for Version 6.4. The upcoming Genshin Impact update is set to introduce Varka, the Knight of Boreas, a 5-Star Anemo Claymore with an ability kit that focuses on Swirl, scales with ATK, and features synergy with Hexerei characters. However, players should temper their expectations regarding Version 6.4, as the patch will only focus on Varka – featuring no Dornman Port or Lohen, as previously assumed.
In terms of what Genshin Impact players can expect from Varka, his playstyle can best be summed up as dual-wielding Claymores to deal dual-element damage via Normal Attacks infused by his Elemental Skill. This damage is always guaranteed to be Anemo, with the second damage type being Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo – determined by the element of his non-Anemo teammates. Varka’s ability kit can only be fully realized in teams that fulfill the following conditions: two Hexerei characters, two Anemo characters, and two Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo characters that share their element type. In practice, this means ideally pairing Varka with Venti, Durin, and Bennett.
Columbina Best Teams In Genshin Impact
The Moon Goddess is a key character to several types of Lunar-Reactions in Genshin Impact, giving Columbina a wider range of team compositions.

While Varka will undoubtedly be the main star of Version 6.4, the update will also feature some notable reruns. According to datamined information via Hakushin, Varka, Flins, Escoffier, and Skirk will headline the Event Banners in Version 6.4 in an order that’s yet to be determined. With Columbina and Ineffa both headlining the first half of Version 6.3, Genshin Impact players who possess both characters can complete their Lunar-Charged team by grabbing Flins in Version 6.4. On the other hand, Escoffier and Skirk in Genshin Impact form a powerful, extremely synergistic core for Freeze teams.
However, there are a few things to consider regarding the Event Banners in Version 6.4. Coming out of the beta, many theorycrafters are underwhelmed by Varka’s damage potential, comparing his current ceiling to that of early Natlan characters such as Kinich. That being said, there is hope that Varka’s best supports have yet to join the cast, with Nicole and Lohen being cited as possible teammates. Furthermore, Varka’s Signature Weapon and Constellations provide decent leaps of power, making him a safe Genshin Impact character to vertically invest in. For many fans, it may ultimately come down to how fun his gameplay will end up being on the live servers.
For players who are interested in horizontal investment, Escoffier and Skirk continue to be a staple whenever the Stygian Onslaught or the Spiral Abyss call for Freeze teams. Escoffier, in particular, is a versatile support character in Genshin Impact, supplementing any Hydro or Cryo hypercarry with healing, resistance shred, and off-field damage. With Version 6.4 delaying Dornman Port, Genshin Impact players will have to rely on their funds from Version 6.3 when pulling on the upcoming banners.
Thankfully, the Lantern Rite is underway, granting players twenty Intertwined Wishes just for logging in – on top of Primogems obtained from the Flagship Event itself. No featured 4-Stars have been datamined for Version 6.4, but given Varka’s status as a Hexerei character in Genshin Impact, it’s entirely possible that HoYoverse will give Sucrose a fast rerun. Fans will be able to find out more during the next Special Program Announcement for Version 6.4, scheduled for February 13, 2026.
As for when Genshin Impact players can expect Varka to join the playable cast, debut banners have traditionally held the first phase slot (barring a few exceptions), implying that the 5-Star Anemo Claymore will launch with the patch itself. Version 6.4 is set to come out on February 25, 2026.
