According to a post on the official Pokemon webpage, the Fantastical Parade expansion will be released at 5:00 p.m. on January 28, PST. This marks a slight change in the regular release schedule, with new packs having traditionally gone live at the start of a new in-game day up to this point. To find out the exact release time for Fantastical Parade in your region, you can check out the table above, but for those living outside of North America, it’s worth noting that the new packs won’t go live until January 29, around five hours before the usual time.
To avoid wasting pack stamina, it’s a good idea to avoid opening any packs in the 24-hour period prior to release.
What New Cards Are in Fantastical Parade?
Like the ones for other new packs before it, the Fantastical Parade trailer showed off plenty of exciting new cards, including two new Mega Evolutions. Mega Gardevoir is undoubtedly the pick of the bunch, as, much like the Genetic Apex Gardevoir, it has the potential to be an excellent support card for hard-hitting psychic-type Pokemon like Mewtwo ex. The introduction of Stadium cards like Peculiar Plaza makes Mega Gardevoir ex an even more viable option, particularly for those who already have a strong selection of psychic-types at their disposal. Of course, these are just two of the 200+ new cards that will be added as part of the Fantastical Parade expansion, so Pokemon TCG Pocket players have plenty to look forward to.
