Fortnite OG has entered its seventh season, launching players into the now frost-covered Chapter 1 island with Polar Peak, Frosty Flights, and other nostalgic locations. Where to Find the Infinity Blade in Fortnite OG
The Infinity Blade is a returning weapon that players can get in Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7. To obtain it, players must land at Polar Peak. The item itself can be found right at the center of Polar Peak, and can be claimed by holding the interact button when near it. However, only one person per match can claim the Infinity Blade this way.
Once players acquire the Infinity Blade, it will occupy the player’s entire inventory, automatically dropping any other items they previously had equipped. The player’s health is increased to 200 base health and 200 shield, with both slowly regenerating over time after taking damage. While wielding the Infinity Blade, players also gain a small movement speed boost, but are unable to build when playing in Battle Royale.
The Infinity Blade features two primary attacks that players can use in combat. Eliminations made with the Infinity Blade grant Siphon, restoring a portion of the player’s health or shield. Below is a breakdown of each attack:
- Base Attack (Shoot Button): Swing the Infinity Blade to perform a melee attack. This deals 75 damage to opponents and instantly destroys all structures.
- Slam Attack (Aim Button): Launch forward a short distance to perform a slam attack that deals splash damage. This attack deals 25 damage to opponents, one-shot structures, and grants immunity to fall damage.
How Long is the Infinity Blade Available in Fortnite OG?
The Infinity Blade officially returned to Fortnite through Fortnite OG on Friday, January 16, at 9 AM ET. The Mythic item will remain available for the entire weekend and will be vaulted from Fortnite OG on Monday, January 19, at 9 AM ET. This gives players just four days to enjoy the weapon before it is removed once again.
