Xbox Game Pass January 2026 Wave 1 Lineup Officially Announced
The Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 lineup for January 2026 has been officially announced, with two of its titles already available as of today. In total, the newly confirmed roster includes seven new games, plus four expanded releases arriving on one additional Xbox Game Pass tier.
Five weeks have passed since Microsoft last announced an Xbox Game Pass lineup. In a typical month, each half of the month receives a dedicated update. However, for the past several years, Microsoft has condensed its December reveals into a single announcement, making the wait for the subsequent January Wave 1 lineups longer than usual. This year’s wait ended on January 6, when Microsoft unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass roster of 2026.

This month’s lineup opens with Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, both of which are already available to play as of today, January 6, having been shadow dropped a few hours ahead of the official Wave 1 announcement. They will be followed by Final Fantasy and Star Wars Outlaws on January 8 and January 13, respectively. My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery is then scheduled to arrive on January 15, with MIO: Memories in Orbit and Resident Evil Village planned for five days later. Of those seven titles, only MIO: Memories in Orbit was already confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2026 prior to today’s Wave 1 lineup announcement.
