How to Get Cooling Coil in Arc Raiders

Cooling Coil sells for 1,000 Coins and can be recycled into 6 Chemicals and 2 Steel Springs. As Springs are useful for a lot of crafting, like Advanced Mechanical Components and Extended Magazines, the usefulness of the Cooling Coils remains even after you submit them for the expedition. You will need four Cooling Coils for the second phase of the expedition, along with Durable Cloth x35, Wires x25, and Electrical Components x20.

The best place to find Cooling Coils is in the industrial areas. The map with the most industrial locations is Spaceport, and players should easily be able to find the coils there. However, since Spaceport is easily the biggest map in the game, getting to these buildings with a bad spawn can take time. A better map to farm the Cooling Coils is the Dam Battlegrounds. There are two locations that you need to check out: the Hydroponic Dome Complex or the Power Generation Complex.

Both of these areas have a lot of loot, so try to check all the generators, car hoods, and metal breach crates, as you are more likely to find the coils inside them. Both of these are close to each other, so you can try to check out the other area once you have looted the first. There is still a high chance you could find the coils in the second area, despite it being looted by someone else, purely because not everyone needs the coils.

You can carry three at a time, and if you find any, it is best to put them in your Safe Pocket immediately. If you salvage them on the Topside, you will get Springs x2 per coil salvaged.
