Traps And Grenades Tier List In ARC Raiders

By newsgame

Grenades and Traps are a big part of ARC Raiders‘ combat. They either offer some supportive utility, like tagging enemies’ locations, or blowing up an entire area to get rid of danger. Their effectiveness comes from the way players use them during combat. Still, there are obvious explosives that are too useful to be ignored. Here’s a tier list that ranks the best explosives in ARC Raiders, including all Grenades and Traps.

ARC Raiders Explosives Tier List Update (January 2026)

Light Impact Grenade is a great option to take when going for a low-budget loadout in ARC Raiders. You can spam-throw it at enemies to hurt them, force them out of cover, and destroy their traps.

Heavy Fuze Grenades deal serious damage but take time to detonate, giving enemies enough time to move out of the blast radius. This is the main reason they’re not an S-Tier explosive in ARC Raiders. The same applies to the Snap Blast Grenade, though it sticks to surfaces and enemies on contact, making it harder to avoid. As for the Shrapnel Grenade, it acts exactly like the Heavy Fuze Grenade but costs less, deals less damage, and has a smaller radius.

Blaze Grenade is amazing for taking raiders out of cover or destroying ARC enemies. Other than its decent damage, it also burns enemies, which puts them in a state where it’s harder for them to fight back. It’s an S-Tier Grenade in ARC Raiders.

Blaze Grenade Trap is less effective but can do the same job if enemies walk straight into it. Fireball Burner is the same, but it doesn’t have the same damage, utility, and radius, making it a tedious quick-use item instead of a useful one.

Best Loadout For Each Map In ARC Raiders

Best Loadout For Each Map In ARC Raiders

Going topside in ARC Raiders requires a solid loadout to handle both ARC enemies and hostile PvP players.

Showstopper does its job by controlling combat for a few seconds, forcing raiders to relocate and fight out of cover. It’s also one of the best grenades to use against ARC enemies, as it stuns them for a long duration. The Jolt Mine has similar effects but works better in PVP, where you can set it up to completely disable a raider when you expect them to push.

The Gas Grenade, Gas Grenade Trap, and Gas Mine work similarly to control an area and drain raiders’ stamina. They also slightly block enemies’ sight and put them at a disadvantage. They’re cheap and can do the job of higher-tier grenades, but not as well. Among all three, the Gas Grenade Trap is the weakest since raiders can spot it easily. You need to set it in areas where the game forces animations, like after a zipline or a tight jump.

For some reason, the explosive Mine has a rare Trap classification while it barely deals any damage. You need to set it up, wait until a raider reaches it, and then it deals its underwhelming damage. It can still be a useful mine if you stack them next to each other, but there are a lot of better options. However, when talking about a completely useless mine, there’s nothing more worthless in ARC Raiders than the Pulse Mine. It just exists to slightly push enemies, for memes.

For setting traps, Synthesized Fuels is a much better option since you can find them during raids and stack them to blow them up the moment raiders come close to your location.

The Lure Grenade and Lure Grenade Trap draw ARC enemies toward a targeted area. The Lure Grenade shines because you can throw it directly at enemies and watch nearby ARCs swarm them. The trap, however, is far less effective, as it can be easily spotted and requires precise placement ahead of time. It’s simply too tedious to justify using.

The Li’l Smoke Grenade, Smoke Grenade, and Smoke Grenade Trap are solid options for blinding enemies around you. The Smoke Grenade can cover a wide area, giving you and your team time to rotate, push into close-range fights, or disengage entirely. The Li’l Smoke Grenade offers the same effect with a shorter duration and smaller radius, making it a cheap but reliable utility pick for low-budget raids. As for the Smoke Grenade Trap, it suffers from the same issue as other utility traps. You need to predict enemy movement to get value out of it. It’s not worth investing in when the Smoke Grenade and Li’l Smoke Grenade are more consistent options.

The Seeker Grenade is a mini version of Wolfpack, which is one of the best explosives in ARC Raiders. It has less homing range and damage than the Wolfpack, but it’s much cheaper. It’s a perfect explosive to deal with small ARC flying enemies, like Hornets and Wasps. But when it comes to dealing with the big ones, you need a monster like the Wolfpack, which can shred ARCs to pieces.

Speaking of Epic explosives, the Deadline is a really strong trap in ARC Raiders. It explodes after a few seconds, completely deleting an entire area, including any raider or ARC enemy within its radius.

Which Items Are Safe to Recycle in ARC Raiders

Which Items Are Safe to Recycle in ARC Raiders?

Here are the items you can safely get rid of in ARC Raiders.

The Trigger ‘Nade is broken and needs a quick nerf, because it’s just unfair how good it is. One Trigger ‘Nade is enough to terrorize an entire team and get them running with their tails between their legs. It’s currently the best Grenade in ARC Raiders, and there’s no reason not to start every raid with one or two Trigger ‘Nades.

The Tagging Grenade works in some situations where it’s hard to locate enemies, but you know they’re there. It’s also great to use with Smoke Grenades, as they block vision while Tagging Grenades highlight enemies’ locations and movements.

Finally, the Trailblazer is underwhelming in PVP fights but shines against ARC ground enemies. It’s an expensive quick-use item and not the most reliable explosive to have in your inventory. All of that lowers the Trailblazer’s ranking on this ARC Raiders explosives tier list.
