Root Of The Matter Quest In ARC Raiders

It’s always nice to help traders search for pieces of the past in ARC Raiders. It helps make this Extraction Shooter an actual survival game and sets the mood for what it’s all about. In the Root of the Matter quest, players must help Celeste find the Seed Vault and extract an Experimental Seed Sample. Here’s everything you need to know about the Root of the Matter quest in ARC Raiders, including where to find the room with a great view.

Root Of The Matter Quest In ARC Raiders

The quest starts simply by asking players to go to the Research Building. It’s a medium-value loot area in the middle of Buried City, in between Marano Park and the Space Travel building. There are multiple entrances to the Research Building from all sides. So, getting inside the Research Building shouldn’t be a problem.

There are always enemies inside the Research Building, so always be prepared to fight. Usually, there will be at least one ARC Fireball and one ARC Pop.

Getting inside the Research Building will complete:

• Go to the Research Building

And will start a new objective:

• Search for the Seed Vault in the “room with a great view”

Whatever side you enter the Research Building, you can immediately see a corridor on the first floor that leads to the room with a great view. The room is in the middle of the first floor.

It has a wide open window that actually has a great view of Marano Park, which is also filled with ARC enemies, and an ARC Surveyor in ARC Raiders.

The Seed Vault is on the left side of the room, the one labeled with Cryogenic Hazard. Approach it and interact with it to secure the seeds.

A quest item will drop from the Seed Vault, called Experimental Seed Sample.

That will complete:

• Search for the Seed Vault in the “room with a great view”

And will start a new objective:

• Deliver the Experimental Seed Sample to Celeste

The Experimental Seed Sample will be in your inventory, so it’s important to make it out of the Buried City safely to be able to deliver the quest item to Celeste. You can enter the Buried City with at least one safe pocket to secure the Experimental Seed Sample, so even if you fell during that run, you won’t have to do it all over again.
