Druids wield natural magic and shapeshifting powers to bulldoze through enemies in Path of Exile 2, and just like every other class in the game, players have a few Ascendancy classes to choose from in order to make their Druid much stronger.
Ascendancies in PoE 2 act much like how subclasses do in other games. They give characters significant boosts in power, and they often follow a specific theme as well. The ones for the Druid elevate the class’ nature magic and shapeshifting fantasies while also giving players more ways to grow in power. Here’s a look at all the Ascendancies for the Druid.

PoE 2 Druid Shaman Ascendancy Nodes
The first Ascendancy for Druids is called Shaman, and it leans heavily toward turning your character into a walking natural disaster. It offers a balance of offensive and defensive nodes, though it’s more suited for players who want to use melee or close-ranged builds.

Shaman is typically taken for Shapeshifting Druid builds in PoE 2 for its passive Rage regeneration. However, it’s viable even for elemental caster builds thanks to its elemental damage bonuses and the Apocalypse skill.
PoE 2 Druid Oracle Ascendancy Nodes
Oracle is an interesting Ascendancy in a few ways. Instead of being just the caster counterpart of Shaman, Oracle improves crit stats, grants resilience to critical hits, and provides access to a variety of unique skills and passive nodes, including a way to get passive tree nodes without having them be connected to the player’s greater passive skill path. While it mainly benefits caster builds, it can still work for many other options if players are creative enough.

Oracle is a lot less simple than Shaman. Players can get away with simply boosting their crit chance or getting stronger Spells through Align Fate, but to take full advantage of what the Ascendancy has to offer, you’ll need to make clever use of Entwined Realities and the Unseen Path passives.
