How to Complete The Imprisoned Elf in Divinity Original Sin 2
Starting the Quest
As previously noted, players can start this quest by talking to Sahelia in the cavern in the Fort Joy Ghetto. The entrance to the cavern has been marked on the preceding map, and Sahelia can be found by a bonfire inside. Once you locate the elf, speak with her about leaving Fort Joy and pursue the conversation options that focus on Amyro.
Talk to Camp Boss Griff
After the quest has been added to your journal, head to the Camp Kitchen near the center of the area and speak with Camp Boss Griff. Again, this location has been marked on the preceding map, and players should ask the NPC about Amyro’s captivity. Divinity: Original Sin 2 players should then offer to make a deal, suggesting that they will recover Griff’s stolen supplies in exchange for Amyro’s freedom, to advance the quest to the next phase.
Amyro can be found in a cage directly across from Griff, and players can speak with him during their visit to the Camp Kitchen, though doing so is not required. Additionally, players can opt to kill Griff instead of looking for his supplies, but they may find the ensuing battle quite difficult.
Search for Crate of Citrus & Find Griff’s Stolen Goods
Players should now make their way to the alcove just west of the cavern entrance. Here, players will find Griff’s crate, and interacting with it will reveal that the stolen goods are no longer within. Fortunately, players need not travel very far to find the items of interest.
Indeed, players can find a Lizard NPC called Stingtail sleeping near a fire in the alcove with the crate, and he is holding the oranges that need to be returned to Griff. Players can convince Stingtail to hand over the oranges by speaking with him and using the Finesse persuasion option when it appears, or they can steal the items if they prefer.
Both the Red Prince and Sebille’s quests can be advanced by allowing them to speak with Stingtail. If you are working on both those quests in a single playthrough, keep Sebille away from Stingtail and allow the Red Prince to speak with him first. Once that is done, return to Stingtail with Sebille and allow that conversation to occur.
Report Back to Griff
With the oranges in hand, head back to Griff in the Camp Kitchen and pass them along. This will lead to the freeing of Amyro, and the elf will now be willing to show players the way out of Fort Joy.
Griff will want to know who is responsible for stealing his goods, and providing Stingtail’s name will cause an assassin to attack the Lizard. Players can thwart the assassin’s efforts, provided that Sebille is not in the party, by attacking him, though it is not necessary that they do so.
Return to Sahelia
Players can now make their way back to the cavern, wait for Amyro to arrive, and speak with Sahelia. This conversation will lead to the completion of the Imprisoned Elf, and players will have the opportunity to select their desired reward.
