Pokemon GO Has 1 Code to Redeem for December 2025

By newsgame

Pokemon GO players can redeem a code to unlock some new gear for their avatar completely for free. The idea of promo codes is pretty standard for the popular mobile title, as Pokemon GO has a long history of cross promotion and other limited-time events that pop up from time to time. Verizon is a frequent collaborator, typically giving players free items, while McDonald’s, Major League Baseball, and even Ed Sheeran have all contributed to the game over the years.

December 2025 has been a packed month for Pokemon GO players, as Niantic has made sure to keep each week topped up with new events and other things to do. As expected, the December 2025 Community Day for Pokemon GO brought back all previously featured creatures throughout the year. Fans have even been able to catch Nacli and its evolutions for the first time, and there’s currently Winter Fest happening. In the meantime, fans can also utilize a promo code to score some free gear.

Pokemon GO Fans Want a New Endgame Mode

Hundreds of Pokemon GO Players Want New Mode That Would Completely Change the Endgame

Pokemon GO players are proposing an idea for a brand-new endgame challenge that could significantly change how players approach the mobile game.

While Pokemon GO is no stranger to promotion codes and giving fans free items, there’s currently only one active code available for the game at the moment. Using the code above, players can unlock some avatar items based on a popular real-life clothing collection between Fendi, FRGMT, and Pokemon. The items include a brown FRGMT hat and a white Fendi hoodie featuring the likes of the popular Dragon Pokemon known as Dragonite.

What’s interesting is that this code is actually from a Pokemon GO 2024 collaboration with Fendi in celebration of the Year of the Dragon. Ironically, the announcement specifically mentioned that the promotional code above would only be available for a year, from January 4, 2024, to January 4, 2025. While 2026 is now right around the corner, the code is still active at the time of publication, so interested fans will want to redeem this as soon as possible because there’s no telling when the plug could get pulled on it.

Even with December coming to an end, Niantic still has plans for its players. Pokemon GO will feature a New Years Event kicking off on December 31, and coming to an end on January 4, 2026. During this time, players can come across costumed Pokemon, like Hoothoot in a New Years party outfit, Bulbasaur in a party hat, or Pikachu sporting a star speckled top hat. There are also plenty of bonuses and rewards during the holiday event, such as increased lucky exchanges, and special 1 and 3-star raid encounters. For those willing to spend some real money, NIantic is making sure the in-game store has a selection of content like the Blacephalon Boots for the player’s avatar.

For many players, attention has turned to 2026 where Niantic has already revealed numerous plans to keep fans logging in during the new year. The Pinch Perfect event kicks things off and will feature the Pokemon GO debut of Klawf, the ambush Pokemon that originally made its franchise debut in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Not only that, shiny Dhelmise will also be making its debut. During this event, players will also see an uptick in encounters for Corphish, Dwebble, Clauncher, Tirtouga, and Archen as well.

On top of all that, the January 2026 Go Pass will feature Dialga, letting players have a special encounter against it. If the January Go Pass follows suit to previous months, free players will likely be able to encounter Dialga at level 100 in the Basic version. Players can also purchase the Deluxe version to score even more rewards and bonuses, including rare items like Super Incubators, XL Candy, and more.
