ARC Raiders Player Collects Absurd Amount of Rubber Ducks
A dedicated ARC Raiders player online has shown off their pretty wild rubber duck collection, with 4,200 in total at the moment. And although this gamer has already amassed a small army of these rubber ducks in ARC Raiders, they have plans to expand their collection even further going forward, no matter how strange it looks in their Raider Den.
Initially, players weren’t able to display all the rubber ducks in their stashes in their Raider Den. However, the 1.3.0 update that was released last month quickly changed this, allowing players to show off their complete rubber duck collections in their Raider Dens. Players swiftly jumped at the opportunity to collect rubber ducks in ARC Raiders, comparing their hordes of ducks with each other online. While this is hilarious in theory, one player has taken it to the next level entirely with an incomparable collection.

This ARC Raiders Player Has Picked Up 4,200 Rubber Ducks, With More on the Way
Over on Reddit, user BigBootyTom showed off their Raider Den in ARC Raiders. Upon opening their stash, it’s revealed that all 280 slots are filled with 15 rubber ducks. That’s a total collection of 4,200 ducks, taking up their entire stash in-game. Players have quickly made it a thing to collect trinkets in ARC Raiders, but few will be as dedicated to the hunt as BigBootyTom. The way this is represented visually is pretty hilarious, too, with the player sitting on their bed in the Raider Den, surrounded by an entire room of rubber ducks placed wherever they can fit. They fill the entire floor; they’re sitting on the shelves. They’re even on the bed. One user pointed out that the character “even looks exhausted and slightly ashamed” at the entire affair. It doesn’t quite look like there are 4,200 rubber ducks in the room, but ultimately, that could get pretty busy to look at.
But despite the hilarious absurdity of it all, BigBootyTom has no plans to stop their rubber duck collecting any time soon. Although they’re currently restricted by stash limits, ARC Raiders‘ first Expedition will introduce an extra 12 stash slots. For most players, this is an opportunity for more loot. For BigBootyTom, this is just a chance to pick up some more rubber ducks. 180 more of them, to be exact, with an extra 15 available in their stash when the Expedition launches. The player could sell their existing stash of rubber ducks for 4,200,000 coins, and there’s something quite pure in the fact that they’re instead choosing to keep their collection intact. They could even be using them as a distraction in-game, as intended, but no. Others in the thread claimed to have been doing the same thing with the ducks, but none were close to maxing out the stash like BigBootyTom.
One user shared another idea in the thread that would surely be welcomed by this ARC Raiders rubber duck connoisseur. “Rubber ducks should have their own stash so you can store them to show off in your room, but also not take up actual stash inventory.” Another user went a step further, claiming that “Any item that is displayable in your room should have a label on it that signifies that, and it also shouldn’t take up room in your stash.” This would undoubtedly be good for those who enjoy collecting these trinkets in the game, but there’s something particularly special about the player making the conscious choice to sacrifice their ARC Raiders stash space in favor of the rubber ducks. Perhaps, without that sacrifice, the collection wouldn’t feel like such a feat.
