How to Farm Hyper Berries in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension
The easiest way to farm Hyper Berries in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is by making the 5-Star Lavish Kasib Jam Donut that has the Item Power: Berries and the Big Haul Power Flavor Powers. This donut is made using eight Hyper Kasib Berry.
When a Donut has these two powers, using it to access a Hyperspace Distortion will result in a massive amount of Hyper Berries from that run, making each attempt extremely fruitful.
- Item Power: Berries: This power makes you a lot more likely to get Hyperspace Berries from the floating Poke Balls found in hyperspace.
- Big Haul Power: This power makes you receive a lot more items than usual from the floating Poke Balls found in hyperspace.
In the Donut making system, the flavors added to a Donut (Spicy/Sweet/Sour/Bitter/Fresh) dictate what Flavor Powers (special stats) it will have. Both Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power effects correspond to the Sour stat (yellow). This means the more Sour stat a Donut has, the higher chance that the Flavor Powers we are looking for will show up.
The Berry with the highest Sour score is the Hyper Kasib Berry, which adds 95 Sour flavor to every donut. Using eight Hyper Kasib Berries will give the Donut 760 Sour score, the highest possible Sour flavor you can get.
Hyper Berry Farming Method
- Complete Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5 (Rogue Mega Heatran) to unlock Hyperspace Butter.
- Talk to Nurse Joy at any Pokemon Center in Lumiose City to trigger an Auto Save.

Fast travel to Hotel Z and make a Donut using eight Hyper Kasib Berries.
- Check if the Donut has the Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power Flavor Powers.

If the Donut does not have the desired Flavor Powers, close the game and boot it up again.
- On the title screen, press Up (D-Pad), X, and B at the same time.
- Select “Start from backup save data,” and the game will load from the Auto Save in the Pokemon Center.

Repeat from Step 2 until you make a Donut with Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power.
- Enter a 4-Star Large Hyperspace Wild Zone (reroll hyperspace by resting at a bench if one is not found).
Each time you destroy the floating Poke Balls in hyperspace, you’ll obtain roughly seven or eight Hyper Berries. And since there are easily over a dozen Poke Balls to be found in Large zones, each run will be extremely lucrative, resulting in roughly 10-15 Hyper Berries of every type.
Golden Pokeballs are not easy to find in Large Hyperspace distortions. To ensure you don’t miss one, make a hard save as soon as you complete all objectives in the zones, and reload if you end up missing it.
Every time Ansha makes a Donut, the game Auto Saves. With the backup save at the Pokemon Center, you can reuse the same eight Hyper Kasib Berries over and over until you make the Donut with Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power, saving a lot of time and effort.
The Hyperspace Butter allows Ansha to create Donuts using eight Berries. The more Hyper Berries you use in your Donut, the more effective and higher level its special stats are going to be, resulting in a higher yield per attempt. Attempting to farm Hyper Berries before reaching this point is much less efficient and not really worth it in the long term.
How to Get Hyper Kasib Berry in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension
Hyper Kasib Berry Location
Hyper Kasib Berries can be obtained from floating Poke Balls in 4-Star Hyperspace Zones (or above) in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC. The Golden Poke Ball that appears when all objectives in a Hyperspace Zone have been completed has the highest drop rate.
To ensure you get a Hyper Kasib Berry, make a hard save before attacking a floating Poke Ball. If the ball doesn’t drop a Hyper Kasib Berry, reload the save and pop the ball again. You can repeat this cycle endlessly until you get a Hyper Kasib Berry to spawn.
With this method, you can essentially get eight Hyper Kasib Berries from only a couple of runs, saving a ton of time.
The Hyper Kasib Berry cannot drop in 3-Star Hyperspace distortions or below.
