The most wonderful time of the year has arrived in Fortnite with the Winterfest 2025 Event, kicking off the Christmas season in-game with a wide variety of festive content. From the return of the Snowball Launcher to free rewards unwrapped from presents in the Winterfest Cabin, there is plenty for players to enjoy.
That’s not all, as Winterfest Quests have also arrived, taking players through a series of festive challenges to earn XP. One of these quests tasks players with hunting down the elusive Perfect Gift, which not only rewards XP but also provides a pool of excellent loot to boost their chances of securing a Victory Royale. Where to Find a Perfect Gift in Fortnite
The Perfect Gift is a unique item that players can come across during the Winterfest 2025 event in Fortnite. This item can be found exclusively in chests, whether they are regular chests or rare chests. However, the item is not guaranteed to spawn, so be sure to search multiple chests to increase your chances of finding one.
Once you have successfully found a Perfect Gift, you can interact with it to pick it up and begin a Delivery Quest. Doing so will complete the “Collect a Perfect Gift from a Chest” Winterfest Quest, rewarding players with a total of 10,000 XP toward their various passes.
What to Do With the Perfect Gift in Fortnite
Now that you have a Perfect Gift, you will need to deliver it to any NPC on the Fortnite island. While players may be inclined to hold onto the item for as long as possible, you only have a five-minute window to deliver the gift. If the timer expires, you will lose the ability to complete the Delivery Quest.
If you manage to find an NPC in time, simply interact with the character and select the “Give the Perfect Gift” dialogue option. Doing so will reward players with a pool of random items and, if it is the first time completing the task, will also finish the “Deliver a Perfect Gift to any character to collect Winterfest loot” quest, granting an additional 10,000 XP.
For those unsure of where to find the nearest NPC, it is best to drop directly at one beforehand, loot the Perfect Gift item, and then take it straight to them. Here are all the locations where a character can be found:
