How Do You Access the New Update in Expedition 33?

After you start the game, make your way over to Lumiere, which is to the south of the map. You will need Esquie’s flying and diving underwater ability to access the new area, so it is better to complete the second Act before going there. To the right of Lumiere is a small entrance on the water that you can go through to reach Verso’s Drafts.

Colour of Lumina #1

From the first checkpoint, head down to the first springs, and on the left of it is the Colour of Lumina.

Double Bun Hairstyle (Monoco) + 1st Piece of Cake

Go towards the glowing red Esquie statues in the hot springs and interact with both of them once to turn them blue. Then go straight ahead to spot one more statue that has its hands up. Interact with this one to change it to blue as well, and turn to the left to find the Half-baked Lifeguard. He will reward you with a Piece of Cake and the Double Bun Hairstyle for Monoco.

Slowing Attack (Pictos)

To the left of the lifeguard is a hot spring with the Slowing Attack (Pictos) sitting on top of the ledge.

Grandiose Chroma Catalyst

To the right of the Lifeguard is a small hut with the Grandiose Chroma Catalyst inside that you can use to upgrade your weapon.

Chic Hairstyle (Verso)

Right next to the Gestral Baths rest point is the first Hopsotch puzzle, and you need to step on the number tiles in the correct order, which will reward you with the hairstyle.

Esquiaro Weapon (Monoco)

Go left of the lifeguard, and you will come to a diving board with a Gestral standing on it. Attack it to make it fly away and grab the weapon at the end of the board.

Colour of Lumina

Now, you need to fall onto the hoops below you. Jump onto the big yellow hoop, and you can grab your reward from the gestral nearby for the Colour of Lumina.

Double Bun Hairstyle (Maelle)

Turn around, go up the rope, and this time, drop down to the blue hoop. The reward for this is a hairstyle for Maelle.

French Bob Hairstyle (Monoco)

The last diving board challenge is the red hoop, which is the most difficult one. For this, you will need to jump at the far left edge of the board and control your fall to land inside the red hoop. The reward for this is a hairstyle for Monoco.

Chroma

From the previous collectible location, head straight towards the red slide, and behind it is the Chroma.

Longer Break (Pictos)

While facing the red slide, turn to the right path and keep going until you spot an enemy with wheels. Defeat it to get the Longer Break (Pictos).

SOS Healing Tint (Pictos)

In the same area is another enemy who is tall and has a head that resembles that of Francois. Defeat it to get the SOS Healing Tint (Pictos).

In the same area are two enemies next to each other with red hair. Defeat them to get the Damage Share (Pictos).

Colour of Lumina x3

Next to where you fought the enemies for the last collectible is a jar that you attack to destroy. Beneath it, you can find Colour of Lumina.

Double Bun Hairstyle (Sciel)

To the right of the door with the eyes, you will find the number 1 tile, and this starts the second Hopscotch puzzle. There are eight tiles that you need to step on, and the guide here explains how to find all of them. Once you find all of them, you will get the hairstyle for Sciel.

Gradient Parry (Pictos)

Next to the number 5 tile is a statue of Esquie with the Pictos in its hand.

Empowered Healer (Pictos)

From the previous collectible, you can find a brazier up ahead with a path on the left, which leads to the Pictos.

Chroma Elixer Shard

Go right of the door with the eyes, and to your right, you will spot a tree trunk you can crouch under. There are three balloons that you need to shoot here: one to the left, the second is behind the blocked item, and the third is to the right on the large tree.

Sucreso Weapon (Verso)

Go back and crouch under the tree trunk to find a rope that leads up to a wooden pathway. Go towards the treehouse and grab the weapon next to the piano.

Chroma

Climb up the treehouse via the Esquie hooks, and to the left is the Chroma.

Toy Boat

Head left of the door with the eyes and keep going down past the enemies until you reach the Reverie path rest point. From here, turn left to spot a waterfall that you can go through to find the Toy Boat.

AP Discount (Pictos) + Consuming Atack (Pictos) + Esquie Hairstyle

In front of the rest point is a merchant selling various pictos and the Esquie hairstyle for all characters.

Bonbim Weapon (Lune)

Defeat the merchant to get the option to buy a weapon for Lune.

Double Third (Pictos)

Deal with the two enemies that you ignored on your way to the Toy Boat. This fight will drop the Pictos.

2nd Piece of Cake

With the Toy Boat in your possession, head back to the rest point. Turn around and go back the way you originally came, and stick to the right wall until you spot three Gestrals standing near the water. Talk to them and give them the Toy Boat to get the Piece of Cake.

Empowering Jumps (Pictos)

Talk to the Gestral standing alone on the seesaw behind the previous collectible location, and you will have to complete this seesaw minigame. You must jump as the Gestral is about to land on their side, and completing the challenge gives you the Pictos.

Chic Hairstyle (Maelle)

Look behind you to the left to find another Hopscotch puzzle. This is one of the easy puzzles, as all the tiles are in the water in front of you. Complete it to get the hairstyle.

Revive Tint Shard

While facing the seesaw you completed the challenge on, look to the right to spot a Gestral with some green balloons, and behind it is the Tint Shard.

Trigger-Happy (Pictos)

Talk to the kid with the balloons and shoot all of the balloons. Talk to Romanifo and choose the “Gonna Cry” option. This will initiate a fight where you will have to shoot the balloons that are going up. These do damage to the Gestral and will finish the fight.

Esquim Weapon (Lune)

Go past the seesaws and make your way to the area on the left where you will find three red balloons. One is to the left of the locked item, the second is above it, and the third is to the right, a bit further ahead, but you can shoot it from here. Then you can grab the weapon.

Chroma

Head inside the cave to the left of the previous collectible and go down to find a jar on your left and one on your right, both of which you can attack to break and grab the Chroma inside.
