Diablo 4 Goblin Greedings Event Includes Tons of Loot and Free Cosmetics
Diablo 4 has announced its holiday event to see out 2025, bringing tons of loot as well as some awesome free cosmetic items to claim. Titled Goblin Greedings, the upcoming Diablo 4 event brings back Treasure Goblins throughout Sanctuary, giving players the opportunity to farm plenty of great loot as Season 11 really starts to get underway.
Diablo 4 Season 11 has officially begun, bringing with it some major changes to Masterworking and Tempering, as well as the Sanctification and Divine Gifts seasonal mechanics. Although the PTR for the new season wasn’t particularly well-received on the back of the very popular Season 10, the full release has received much more praise from players. This is partly due to the exciting release of the new Paladin class, which is available to play right now for anyone who pre-ordered the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion. The launch of the class has gone down very well with players, giving Diablo 4 a much-needed hype boost as the Season of Divine Intervention gets into full swing.
Diablo 4 Season 11’s Secret Altar Mystery Has Been Solved, and It Comes With Some Must-Have Rewards
Diablo 4 Season 11’s biggest mystery has been solved, and players will want to find out for themselves what rewards they can earn from this event.
Diablo 4 Goblin Greedings Event Brings Back Treasure Goblins
Blizzard confirmed on X that Diablo 4‘s holiday event for 2025 is titled Goblin Greedings, and is set to run between December 18, 2025 and January 6, 2026. Goblin Greedings will see the return of Treasure Goblins to Diablo 4, which drop tons of amazing loot across all realms when killed. By killing Treasure Goblins during Goblin Greedings, players will be able to progress through the returning March of the Goblins reputation board. Unlocking new tiers of the board will improve the loot bags that Treasure Goblins drop. Each tier gives a reward cache for players to claim from Goblin Square in Kyovashad, too. The final tier of the March of the Goblins reputation board is repeatable for more reward caches, so there’s no limit on how many times that dedicated players can complete it. Completing it for the first time gives a Resplendent Spark.
Diablo 4 Goblin Greedings Free Cosmetics
- December 18: Tackle of the First Snows (Mount Trophy)
- December 19: Fallow-ward (Mount Trophy)
- December 20: Crook of First Snow (Mount Armor)
Players will also benefit from some free Diablo 4 cosmetics throughout Goblin Greedings. On December 18, 19, and 20, there will be three Mount cosmetics to claim, entirely for free. Players who can’t log on for these dates don’t need to worry – they can still claim these cosmetics until January 6, the end date for Goblin Greedings. The event is also going to be a great time to turn in Grim Favors, as from the time it starts, it will give players an extra Gift of the Tree cache every time.
Treasure Goblin events are always massively popular with Diablo 4 players. This is because there’s no easier way to gain vast amounts of loot very quickly, so players are always keen to jump in and take part. Goblin Greedings arrives at a particularly useful time. With Season 11 just getting started, it’s a great opportunity for players to really get some great new item upgrades, should luck be on their side with the Treasure Goblin loot.
It’s going to be a very exciting few months for Diablo 4. Blizzard has set the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion for an April 28, 2026 release date, which is set to be the biggest content drop for the game since 2024’s Vessel of Hatred DLC. As well as full access to the Paladin class, Lord of Hatred will also include a second new class, which some Diablo 4 fans think could be revealed in February. There’s also Season 12, the theme of which is currently unknown. Diablo 4 players continue to wait patiently for leaderboards and The Tower, too, features that were promised for Season 11. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to in the near future.
