Diablo 4 Season 11 Makes Farming Mythics Easier Than Ever with This Trick

By newsgame

Earning Mythic Uniques is the goal many Diablo 4 players strive for to finish off their builds each season. Typically, these pieces of gear are the rarest available in Diablo 4, requiring players to farm endgame bosses for hours just for the small chance that one drops. However, Diablo 4 Season 11 has quietly introduced a new method of farming Mythics that is easier and more rewarding than ever before.

Nightmare Dungeons aren’t the most popular Diablo 4 activity in Season 11, since the Lesser Evils invading other activities are the bigger draw. While players will likely spend time using a fantastic new leveling route in Diablo 4‘s Pit of the Artificer, or hunting down Duriel in Helltides, it wouldn’t be wise to sleep on Nightmare Dungeons this season either, as the new Mythic Prankster affix guarantees they will get Mythic drops during their run. As Diablo 4 players approach the endgame of Season 11, Mythics have the potential to be build-defining items with the new Sanctification mechanic, so they should jump at any chance available for farming them.

Diablo 4 Players Should Craft Nightmare Sigils for a Chance at a Rare Mythic Prankster Dungeon

While the Mythic Prankster affix is still rare for Nightmare Dungeons, it is very easy to consistently and quickly grind for one, unlike other Diablo 4 Mythic farming spots. It’s possible to find a Nightmare Sigil with the Mythic Prankster affix from a random world drop, but a more reliable method is to craft Nightmare Sigils at Diablo 4‘s Occultist. To do this, the Occultist requires payment of 4,000 Gold and 40 Sigil Powder, but Sigil Powder is easily obtained by salvaging unwanted Sigils. So players can essentially craft Nightmare Sigils until they get one with the Mythic Prankster affix, while salvaging any without it to recoup some Sigil Powder.

Mythic Prankster Dungeons Guarantee 5 Mythic Drops

Using a Mythic Prankster Nightmare Sigil will cause one of Diablo 4‘s rarest enemies, the Treasure Goblin Fancy Old Fedric, to spawn in the Nightmare Dungeon. This Treasure Goblin has fairly low health, but it will run when encountered, so players will want to keep their eyes peeled and give chase as soon as they see it. Defeating the enemy will cause it to drop its loot, which includes a guaranteed drop of 5 Mythic Uniques for Diablo 4 players to collect.

Players should avoid using any Mythic Prankster Nightmare Sigils they have until reaching at least Torment 1 difficulty, as Mythics won’t drop on non-Torment difficulties, and players will waste their opportunity for 5 guaranteed Mythics.

Co-op Makes Mythic Prankster Nightmare Dungeons Even More Rewarding

To make this Nightmare Dungeon affix even better, players have the chance to earn up to 20 Mythic Uniques while running with a full co-op party of four. Fancy Old Fedric drops 5 guaranteed Mythics per person, meaning solo players will get 5 guaranteed drops, but since items are instanced in Diablo 4, groups of four players will each get a total of 20.

Drops from Mythic Prankster Dungeons

  • 5 Mythic Uniques
  • 1 Resplendent Spark
  • 2 Legendary Runes

Fancy Old Fedric not only drops 5 Mythic Uniques, but a Resplendent Spark and a couple of Legendary Runes as well. While the Mythics that he drops aren’t guaranteed to be the ones players might be looking for, they can use the Resplendent Spark and Legendary Runes as part of the cost for crafting a specific Mythic at Diablo 4‘s Jeweler. Since crafting a Mythic requires two Resplendent Sparks, players will either want to complete the Season 11 reputation board or defeat the four Uber Lesser Evils in the new secret altar event to gain a second one.
