All ACNH January Fish and Bugs
Catching every fish and bug in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a satisfying task to accomplish, but it can take a long time. This is because the game calendar follows the one in real life, and the bugs and fish available on your island change every month.
While players can speed up their collection time by visiting islands in a different hemisphere, or by using the ACNH “time travel” trick to skip ahead, there’s no way to tell in-game what critters are available per month unless you’ve already caught one. So to help you keep track, here’s all the January fish and bugs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

No fish are new in January on Northern Hemisphere islands. This makes the Stringfish and Barreleyes in ACNH the most expensive catches again this month, with a 15,000 bell sell price. Sturgeons and Blue Marlins come in a close second, as they’re both worth 10,000 bells. Don’t worry if you don’t catch all of January’s fish either, as there are no fish leaving after January.
