How to Get Sleep Weapons for Balancers Weakness in Elden Ring Nightreign

By newsgame

Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows expansion adds two new expeditions to the game, one of which is an all-out fight against the Balancers. Facing off against this new formidable opponent, or should I say opponents, is tricky as you’ll be facing multiple mini-bosses with a shared health bar.

While having the best build and team composition is important, one of the biggest weaknesses of the Balancers is Sleep status-infused weapons. Using Sleep-based weapons in the boss fight will trigger a unique mechanic that will make the fight a lot easier to manage. Here’s how to find Sleep weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign, so you can target Balancer’s weakness properly.

How to Get Sleep Weapons for Balancers’ Weakness in Elden Ring Nightreign

Sleep Weapons Location in Nightreign

Players can easily get Sleep status effect weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign by visiting the landmarks that have the “Sleep” status icon (eye closed).

All landmarks have a random status effect loot, so you can try re-joining a raid multiple times until you finally see one or two locations with the Sleep status effect symbol. This will make sure you have a higher chance of acquiring Sleep weapons to use against the Balancers’ weakness.

Once you arrive at one of the landmarks that offer Sleep status loot, you can defeat enemies, loot bodies, smash crates to acquire sleep-based weapons and equipment. However, the best chance to get a high-tier weapon that inflicts Sleep status on enemies is by defeating the boss of that particular landmark.

Once you defeat the boss, you’ll get an effective weapon with decent stats and a passive skill that will inflict the Sleep status effect on enemies, especially the Balancers, since its their weakness.

Sleep Soporific Grease in Nightreign

In addition to weapons that roll with a sleep-inducing passive, players can also find the Soporific Grease, which adds a sleep status effect to your current weapon temporarily. This is especially useful if you want to temporary imbue your current weapon with the Sleep status effect mid-battle.

Sleep Pot Throwable in Nightreign

On top of using weapons to induce the Sleep status on the Balancers in Elden Ring Nightreign, you can also try using throwables like the Sleep Pot. Simply throwing it onto the Balancers will cause an immediate build-up of the Sleep status effect, giving you a major edge during the boss fight.

Players should also visit the Merchant that spawns in various locations throughout the map to see if they offer any weapons that are rolled with a Sleep status passive ability, or a consumable/throwable with that status effect.
