Haven’s Hollow Blood Moon Ritual Easter Egg Guide in COD Warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone receives a boatload of content for the Black Ops 7 Season 1 integration, bringing this year’s premium Call of Duty title’s weapons and movement into the game. Along with Black Ops 7’s content also comes a revamp to perks, improvements like Overkill by default, and finally, the Haven’s Hollow Resurgence map.
Haven’s Hollow is already setting itself up to be one of the best Resurgence maps yet, featuring some Zombies locations, notably the Mansion as featured in Shattered Veil, and even the whole of Liberty Falls. With a map rooted in Zombies lore, it’s only natural to see a few Easter Eggs here and there, with one such Easter Egg taking players through a hellish quest. Here is how to complete the Blood Moon Ritual Easter Egg in Warzone.
How to Unlock All Camos in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
Black Ops 7 and Warzone have the largest selection of Camos of any Call of Duty at launch. Here is how to unlock all the Camos and Mastery Camos.
Step #1: Find & Collect 3 Ritual Items in Haven’s Hollow
For the first part of the Easter Egg, you will need to find and collect three different items dotted around Haven’s Hollow. Since these items are so far apart, it is recommended that you complete this Easter Egg with at least one other player.
As an optional step, you can head into the Research Center beforehand, grab the transparency sheet on the southern part of the building on the second floor, and then place it onto the projector in the eastern portion of the first floor to find the locations of all the items. However, this part is not really necessary, as each item only has three spawns in its respective POI.
Blood Vial Location (Research Center)
The first item you will have to find is the Blood Vial, which is found exclusively at the medical lab on the north part of the Research Center on the second floor. When heading here, look for one of three centrifuges. If you find one that is open, melee it, and it will drop the Blood Vial for you to collect.
Here is a quick rundown on how to find each centrifuge in the Research Center.
- Head in through the roof on the north side to enter the medical lab. The first centrifuge can be found in the first room on the left, on the far right side.
- Push past the first centrifuge to find another under a trolley.
- Take the first door to the right of the second centrifuge and then head into the Executive Office. It can be found on the shelf within the office.
Eldritch Stone Location (Coal Depot)
The next item you need to find is the Eldritch Stone, located at the Coal Depot. Here you can find three yellow safety helmets, some of which will be upside down, with only one being the right side up. These helmets can be found in the top north corner of the main building, on the eastern corner in the pile of coal, and to the south next to a barrel.
Melee the right side-up safety helmet to uncover the Eldritch Stone and collect it.
Animal Bones Location (Pond)
The last item you will need to find is the Animal Bones, found over at the Pond. The Animal Bones can be located underneath one of three wooden structures around the area, most notably near the center, to the west of the pond from the center, and under the stairs leading to the small wooden shack on the southeast side of the field.
To collect it, go prone near each location and pick it up.
Be careful when carrying each item, as if you are eliminated, they will be dropped along with all your other loot. If another player is still alive, or you are brought back, you can drop back to where you died to retrieve them.
Step #2: Activate the Blood Moon Ritual Symbols at the Mansion
For the next step, you will need to head to the attic of the Mansion. Here you can find both a gramophone and a mirror. Follow these quick steps to activate the ritual circle.
- Interact with the gramophone to play its music.
- Throw down a Psych Grenade onto yourself to hallucinate. A guaranteed Psych Grenade can be found inside the attic or by the doorways outside the attic.
- While under the effects of the Psych Grenade, interact with the mirror.
- A note should spawn beside the gramophone. Interact with it (WARNING: there will be a jumpscare upon doing so).
Once the above steps are complete, three glowing red symbols will appear on three different objects in the attic. These objects each relate to the items you gathered earlier. For instance, the blood splatter represents the Blood Vial, the animal skull represents the Animal Bones, and the stone on the wall represents the Eldritch Stone.
Take note of each symbol, as you will need to place these items onto the same symbols above each object over at the Barn POI.
Steps 1 and 2 can actually be completed in reverse or at the same time. However, in order to complete the final step, you will have to activate the symbols in the attic beforehand.
Step #3: Activate the Ritual Circle to Receive Uln’drn & Complete the Pentegram
Now that you have noted down each symbol and the items they relate to, head over to the outside of the Barn, particularly the eastern area. Here you will find a red blood circle with several symbols, three of which will match the ones you found in the Mansion. Place the items onto the correct symbols as showcased in the Mansion.
Upon doing so correctly, an altar will spawn at the center of the circle, along with the Uln’drn Sword for you to collect. Again, be sure you have a team for this part, as doing so makes it much easier. One player will need to take the sword from the altar and stay alive with it, and all teammates can contribute to killing players around the Barn to charge the circle. The player who has the sword will be unable to refill their armor, and the sword itself is relatively weak and cannot be dropped, so it is best that other teammates handle the kills.
From this point, the circle will act as a soul box similar to those found in Zombies, where the souls of every player killed will enter the circle, drawing a line to a pentagram. Simply kill 5 players around the circle to complete the pentagram. Once the pentagram is complete, the player with the sword needs to return it to the altar.
Upon doing so, the Blood Moon Easter Egg will be complete, altering the skybox of the map to reveal a blood moon surrounded by tentacles. This rewards players with the End or Beginning Calling Card and 10,000 XP. All players who complete the ritual will also receive a glowing effect and have all enemies outlined for them.
If the sword carrier is eliminated, they will drop the sword. This means that another player can collect it, but if it happens to be a player on the other team, they can actually take credit for the Easter Egg if they manage to return it to the altar when the pentagram is complete. The blood circle itself can also become inactive if it does not receive enough souls.
