Thanks to the crossover event taking place this month, tons of Simpsons characters have been added to Fortnite. With the release of The Simpsons season, Epic Games also introduced fans to sidekicks, and this gave it the perfect opportunity to bring Simpsons pets and animals as sidekicks.
Spider Pig, also known as Plopper, made his debut in The Simpsons Movie, and fans immediately loved him. So, when the crossover went live, they knew that it was only a matter of time before this iconic character made his way into Fortnite, and the time has finally come. This article tells players what they need to know about obtaining Spider Pig in Fortnite, including how long the cosmetic will be around and how much it costs.
How to Get Spider Pig in Fortnite
Plopper, known to many as Spider Pig, has been added to Fortnite as a sidekick. Players can get Spider Pig in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. To purchase it, they have to look for Spider Pig in The Simpsons tab of the shop under the name Plopper.
Spider Pig will rotate out of the Item Shop until November 28 at 7 PM ET, but he may return at a later date.
Spider Pig Additional Sidekick Cosmetics
When players purchase Spider Pig as a sidekick in Fortnite, they will receive the Plopper Sidekick Quests. Just like other Sidekick Quests, players will earn Sidekick Points for playing Fortnite with a certain companion beside them, which will allow them to unlock additional themed cosmetics. Here are the items that players will unlock as they complete Spider Pig Sidekick Quests in Fortnite:
- Hoof Prints on the Ceiling emoticon
- Plopper’s Heart emoticon
- Bandana (Gussied-Up) style
- Pig Burp emote
While the Spider Pig song isn’t part of Plopper’s Sidekick Quest rewards, the Hoof Prints on the Ceiling emoticon resembles Homer’s iconic scene with Plopper.
